Hi. I'm Thai and I was about to make a video why people should come to Thailand. I came across your video and I think that you did a really great job here! It's like you came across my mind and thank you for mentioning about the misconception on how people think about Thailand and prostitution. Thank you for loving Thailand. Come and enjoy again next time! :)
SoulVoice - This guy's videos of places around the world just have a stand up uniqueness in them, his respect for the people and unbiased view of places are amazing.
Dude, if you haven't, you really should look into partnering with the Economic Development teams in these countries. They spend millions on advertising and none of their marketing can match your videos. Every single time I watch one of your videos I end up putting that country on my place to visit. Keep up the awesome work!
Jabril and crew, I'm so happy that you made this video on Bangkok. One of the best I've seen thus far. You've managed to showcase some of the best things there are to do in the city, but also capture the warmth and spirit of the Thai ppl through your b-roll of daily interactions with locals. Love what you are doing and look forward to seeing more of your videos!
I'm Bangkokain born and rise, This is clip absolutely correctly information for tourist. especially about prostitute area I want just add some information. red light district in Bangkok (Silom - Patpong, Cowboy Road, Nana [sukumvit soi 3, soi4, and soi 5,7,9,11,13 are included]) , that area have too many scammer (Taxi, souvenir shop dealer, etc.), do not catch taxi who parking and asking for price by don't want to opened meter you can cross the road or called Taxi who running on the road not that's parking. Uber in Thailand are still illegal and have some situation with Taxi driver/Taxi Mafia right now, The trick for call Uber and skip the problem is, you can walk away the place that's have too many Taxi parking(to many shopping area have Taxi queue) In rush hour you may get waiting long waiting time for Uber (7-9AM, 5PM-8PM), especially when the raining day, in Bangkok CBD may take more half hour to over hour waiting, I suggest you can using normal Taxi /sky train/subway is better I hope you enjoy for travelling in Bangkok/Thailand and sorry for my error English!!
:) If you really wanna hang out with local Thais, I suggest you going to Thong-lor (Sukumvit 55) located around "Sukumwit 55 soi 10", too many local/expat in those area in Fri/Sat. Night you should going to that place early (I suggest before 8PM) because after 9PM will be crowd In day life Thong-lor (Sukumvit 55) still interesting for tourist, there are too many of Japanese's restaurant (I mean real Japanese) in Tong-lor(Sukumvit 55) soi 13 it's a shortcut to Sukumvit 21-31-33-39 road and its Japanese town in Bangkok, anyway, Thong-lor (sukumvit 55) main street have too many first-class place to try out, too many superb bistro/cafe/restaurant are located in that's street. and the cost are expensive also. (expensive for normal Thais living cost, but I can't compare to another place it's up to where you came from)
Nattapol Phorueng I had both very good and bad Uber experiences in Bangkok (and all very good taxi/Uber experiences in Chiang Mai and Mae Phim). I was worried about being over charged but if the meter is running it seems legit. Still so much cheaper than NYC! My butt is too big to ride on the back of motor bikes though...I was too nervous to do it. 😂
Nattapol Phorueng , your English is fine...it's way better than my Thai. It was good to see your comments and have your input. I agree with all you have said in comments. It always good to have more advice and information.
Pongsatorn, What i recommend is? about how to handle with the red light district? that's place is junk I accepted, but yo cannot ignore it, you know what? even expat who lived in Thailand for a long time still struct on those red light district by still got the wrong aspect, because they never gone any where except Nana area. or you mean, what I suggest to local nightlife in Thonglor? and why I have to shy on? Thonglor is really nice pace then Nana so so so far, don't beware scammer, hooker or what bad situation in that's place, tourist can be make friend with local by didn't beware about benefit like other relight district. you have to checked out what is contents talk about. when they talk about hang out night life then you suggest them to the temple, Is it correct? if they wanna Vipassana Mediation, I have too many peaceful place for suggest them. but this content was not talk about and I was not shy for my city as long as the information still correct and I'm happy to help them understand more and known how to deal with. It was not help if yo still hide something bad under the Capet, who long that's Thailand is consider to sex tourist spot, how many time that Thai wemen get mistaken by foreigner that's they are all hooker? this is what the effect that's yo want to hide something or skip with don't talk about it. it's not help dude
Seriously, how I miss this place!! Its vibrant, its simple, its easy, its happy, its natural, its humble, it trully amazing. I just cant wait to go back. Thanks for the video that always remindes me good things, good people and good food.
You rock, guys, really! This is by far one of the best traveling channels, you put so much value in it, explain it very well and the length, the mount, the tips...it's just perfect. Keep up! Chapeaux
Me and the wife are thinking of going in May next year, although after looking up the weather for that time of year it's a little off-putting ( supposedly hot and beginning of monsoon season). What was your experience like in that respect?
Going to Thailand for summertime will be raining all the time (but its really depends, me and my girlfriend went there in August and it was sunny every day! super hot), winter time should be fun
This is by far the best video and narration about Bangkok, I watched this right before I left for Bangkok for the very first time and since then I’ve been there three times!! Can’t get enough
well done Bro Jubril.i have been watching your videos since long-time and I loved it . now I can see more professionalism in the video making.the way you present and tell the story about Bangkok is really unique and special. I am a big fan of Thailand, been there for 5 times and stayed for a period of 3 month . keep up the good work and best of luck. Cheers bro Manuel.
I have lived here in Thailand for the past 12 years and like to watch vlogs from different people. Man, you covered a lot in this 12-minute vid. Great job... Lots of energy and lots of info that explains how it is here.
Great Video Jubril! I live in South Beach Miami, nice apparent, good business, nice life...But, excitement wise, compering Miami to Bangkok is like comparing Greenville Alabama to New York City. Bangkok is F AMAZING!
Man this is honestly my favorite video trying to show people what Bangkok is like. Love your energy and how well you tell the story. You seem like a blast to travel with! Sending positive vibes your way!
Thanks a lot for sharing all great information about Bangkok. And also thanks a lot for correcting some misunderstandings about Thailand as well. :) hope to see more of ur videos!!
wow talk about perfect timing. just what I need, going in August for a couple weeks. Thanks for the tips bro, keep the content flowing. I recommend you to all my traveling peeps
Good video. One tip from local, thai taxi like to change some extra for non-thai speakers. So try to get urber or grab which is quite easy around downtown.
AxrulerMag That's awesome. I've been to Thailand 3 times this year as I got involved with rescuing dogs out there (there are so many). Since you live in the Chi, maybe you would consider checking in a rescued dog as baggage on your way home (it's called a flight volunteer) as I have a dog who already has a home in Chicago but I just need to get him there (I'm in NYC). Please consider it and reply if you can and have fun! And try to go to Chiang Mai while you're there. Enjoy, brother.
He lives all over the place. If you check his other channel you will see him in Colombia and several other key areas. He probably has not set foot in Chicago in ages. I saw a news report on those dogs. I was surprised that dogs are being brought here from Thailand. I think they have to come in with document to rule out rabies and some other medical stuff that gets expensive. But I'm thinking it will take them a while to understand English since they understand Thai language only.
High key fuck a tuk tuk and don't ride Them!!! My friend almost got stabbed by the driver and they're thieves!!! He wanted 2000 baht which is 60 dollars when the ride is not even a Dollar! Safest way to get around Bangkok is Uber and it's very cheap compared to the states. The tuk tuk drivers will try finesse you for couple hundred baths! So I highly suggest you not to get on one because it's Not safe and they're going try to rape you with the price because you are a tourist so they expect you to give them the money!!!!!
I'm completely taken a back at how well this video has been produced. And I loved the air shoots of phi phi island at the end. I often go to phi phi for a few days just to laz about in that bay, it's like sitting in a hot bath. I love Thailand 🇹🇭
you are awsome bro !! i plan to go to thailand by my self in december and your video help me a lot ! keep doing it !! Mutch Love From Montréal (Québec/Canada)
Great video ever! Thank you for talking about what many foreigners overlook. Thailand is not the land of butterflies. We are the land of smiles, nicest. Thank you from the heart. One of the voices fromThai ppl. Thank you.
Man, I've been there many times and you are absolutely correct on everything you say! I especially liked that you showed it is NOT all prostitution and you show the love and friendliness of the Thai people. Kudos, man! Great job! Great energy you have!
Wow, I don't know if you just were excited because you were talking about Bangkok, or that's your regular energy; but I was pumped by your video. This is definitely the best video about Bangkok I've seen, with topics I haven't even thought about, like going to a tailor over there; anpther point to my to do list. You've got my subscription and thumb up.
John, First I stay less than 6 months which is perfectly Legal. 2. Thailand is safe not sure what you talking about. 3. Bro not sure what world you live in but thailand compared to most places around the world is crazy cheap. Lastly I don't sell anything on Amazon. I have a facebook marketing agency. Go have a drink my dude.
Was just thinking the same thing! Love your videos. I have taught abroad in Thailand and I could spend an entire lifetime there and be happy. I felt much safer in Thailand than I do in my city in the US.
I'm Thai, but currently reside in LA. Thailand offers you wide range of living style. You can buy cheep food through out Bangkok for $1 / meal.... and of course, you can go to Sukumvit area to have a nice meal for $30.. or you can go to restaurants in High End hotel for $200. So, was Jubril telling a lie? I don't think so. In term of safety, well, yes people have been being robbed, raped, hurt, killed; but wait, so as in L.A.. Also, there're millions of people survive from that unsafe city without any damage. I'm one of them. In conclusion, Thailand is not better or worst than other countries. It depend on what are your demand. If u demand to go to super clean cities; then, go to Japan or German. If your demand is to explore exotic Asia and don't care much about good accommodation; then, go to India (however, I beleive India offers lots of nice accommodation too).......Lastly, It comes down to which area u go, dude. In L.A. if you go to West Los Angeles, you're going to spend big $ a lot on things, neighborhood are safe. If you go to Compton or East L.A., you can buy cheap burritos and chances of u being robbed will be higher.
Just about every place you mention gets added to my list. Looking foward to the next up and coming videos you mentioned. Shout out to you and your whole team. Keep up the great work.
That was awesome. Very good video about Bangkok. I lived there for 2 years, great time ;-) Now living in Phuket for 9 years already. Are you coming to Phuket too? Have a nice day. Greetings from Phuket
ter1413 but remember to take cash with you because new rules state that visa on arrival passengers must have at least 10,000 baht in any currency and other with a visa before travel must have 20,000 baht in any currency.
hiconor obviously not, just need to have that cash on you otherwise you could be turned away at immigration. You gotta be stupid to only go with 20,000 baht
Adil Berdai compared to coming home to the USA Bangkok immigration is a breezeway, u would be very unlucky to get turned away after a 18 hour flight, I like the production of this video but he is tripping hard if he thinks this is a reasonable sample of thailand and it's people...
And the Oscar for the best Vlog on Bangkok goes to PassportHeavy.🤘✔Grrat Editing, Amazing Shots, Mind Blowing Commentary. The best hands down, i have seen 1000s of vlogs this is in its own league. You deserve a lot more subsctibers brorher, i will share your channel. This is amazing content.Love from India Bro.🤘🤘✌
especially good because you communicate your love for the place. Keep digging because the city and the country are deep in splendors. I am 50 plus years invested!.
while watching the the video in such a great quality, i expected at least a million subscribers and when i saw 80k, it was like WTF? you deserve 10 times as much. Keep going!
the locations are in countries that are involved in Genocide and abuse of innocent people and animals.. so why would you go there unless you like supporting the heinous crimes against humanity..?
I've watched many videos about Bangkok, one of my most favorite destinations, and yours is by far the best! Held my attention and I learned a thing or two! Congratulations to you and the team! Best wishes.
Excellence. Every video you release, you set the bar a little higher. Keep up the hard work and continue educating people about the world. The greatest tour guide in the world right here. #blackexcellence
Your review hits the spot on a lot of topics. A lot of Americans have misconceptions of thailand. Bangkok is one of the most interesting cities in Asia and the world!
I'm planning a trip to Thailand in December and came across your channel. I loved the cinematography and the advice given. You just earned another subscription. Keep up the great work!!! 👍🏼
Just randomly found your channel because I've been doing research since I've been running around with a girl from Thailand here in the UK coming from north of Baltimore. This is by far the best bunch of videos I've seen so far; thank you for that. Additionally I love all things related to travel, so you definitely have another subscriber here. Thanks again, bro.
I Always go Thailand with my family because my mother is thai and my father is welsh and I'm going next year and this video was very helpful because I go for 3 weeks to see my grandparents then for 1 week we normally go to Pattaya but next year we are going to Bangkok thanks for sharing this video
Wow, seeing Bangkok, thru your eyes and Anthonys is fresh, especially the Aerial views and the exotic dusk filming..... You guys will be BIGG, IPO BIGG👊🏾
You are so cool! I'm coming to Thailand on February 1st with my bf. I'm looking forward to new videos about things to do in Bangkok, but also islands. We are planing to be there for 15 night and during that time we will go to Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui. Besides that, we will do day trips to other islands too. I'm searching youtube and other places to get know better how to logicaly travel those places and what to see where. So, please do some videos about that. Thank you!!
when it comes to appearance, bangkok isnt as pretty as other cities in asia - like tokyo, seoul and others...but somehow its one of the most visited country in the world...i think its because of the food, culture and people..i wanna go there..we already have plans but it will be until next year..
Been going to Thailand since 2009 (just returned two days ago!), and I gotta say - BKK is the most exciting, reasonably priced, food-centric, shopping-haven, adventure destination! The night-markets are my favorite thing to do. My wife and I will be back in two months!
Planning my Thailand trip for March. über excited but super nervous because I've never been out the US. This video is amazing and made me even more hype! The recommendations of places and visuals REALLY help as well. Thank you!
i am one thai people when i watched this video i feel soo glad when i see who visited my country and hv good memory here
Thank you that means a lot
@@PassportHeavy i want to listen to that exact instrumental in the beginning. where can i purchase the sound?

Many looking Thailand is poor, but BKK people their feeling rich same level with other modern city. Then comparing with country side much differents.
SoulVoice - This guy's videos of places around the world just have a stand up uniqueness in them, his respect for the people and unbiased view of places are amazing.
This guy truly understands the beauty of Thailand, really appreciated.
We're glad you liked it

They spend millions on advertising and none of their marketing can match your videos. Every single time I watch one of your videos I end up putting that country on my place to visit. Keep up the awesome work!
Melvin Barnes I have goosebumps just watching it.

The best, quick and energetic overview of Bangkok I've ever seen on RUclips. Thank you!

Also, DON'T change your money before you go. You get a better rate in Bangkok and there are ATM's, currency exchange places all over.
Thanks for letting people know
ter1413 but remember to take cash with you because new rules state that visa on arrival passengers must have at least 10,000 baht in any currency and other with a visa before travel must have 20,000 baht in any currency.
Adil Berdai don't even think of going to thailand with less than 20,000 bhat period....
hiconor obviously not, just need to have that cash on you otherwise you could be turned away at immigration. You gotta be stupid to only go with 20,000 baht
Adil Berdai compared to coming home to the USA Bangkok immigration is a breezeway, u would be very unlucky to get turned away after a 18 hour flight, I like the production of this video but he is tripping hard if he thinks this is a reasonable sample of thailand and it's people...
planning to spend our honeymoon in Thailand after watching this video. . Well done lads
Appreciate it

the locations are in countries that are involved in Genocide and abuse of innocent people and animals.. so why would you go there unless you like supporting the heinous crimes against humanity..?

when it comes to appearance, bangkok isnt as pretty as other cities in asia - like tokyo, seoul and others...but somehow its one of the most visited country in the world...i think its because of the food, culture and people..i wanna go there..we already have plans but it will be until next year..

Been going to Thailand since 2009 (just returned two days ago!), and I gotta say - BKK is the most exciting, reasonably priced, food-centric, shopping-haven, adventure destination! The night-markets are my favorite thing to do. My wife and I will be back in two months!
Oh we miss the food markets. Enjoy to the fullest
