  • I did do an all day off road ride in 75 degree weather with these pants, although they were very comfy, In my opinion they were very hot even with vents open

I have a pair of these. They are HOT in the summer. I see no difference in ventillation at all when those vents are open or closed. The pants are waterproof and windproof. I wear them over jogging pants when cold weather riding and stay very warm. I took a 15 mph slide on chert/gravel a few weeks ago and they kept me scratch/scuff free. When I cleaned the pants up, they still looked new. I did break one of the plastic waist adjustment loops. I replaced it with a zip tie and I'm back in business. I just need to spend $460 to fix my bike.

I’ve used those HWK pants for 6 months now riding my KlX300 both on and off road. They are warm and waterproof in cold weather and not too hot in summer weather. In winter I wear them over sweat pants and over shorts in summer. Handy pockets. Fit over my ADV boots no problem. Plenty of fit adjustments. I’m happy with them especially for the low price.

Awesome info! Thanks for watching & commenting! Mine are doing well despite me breaking the zipper.

I have the grey pair they were selling on Amazon ca for $46. After removing the water proof layer they are good. Can't beat the price.

I tried a pair years ago, the material was about as durable as the zipper 😐 the pants shredded after a couple rides.

I have two pairs of the HWK Adventure riding pants (in silver) and really like the design and fit. They seemed great initially until it became clear to me that the outside material (the silver portion) is terrible. On both sets, the material has pulled apart in the seat and rear upper legs sections of the pants and also the thread at the seams pulled apart both front and back. The pants are not tight at all but it seems my seat (an OEM KTM and later seat concepts asphalt gripper material) just rips the material apart . I’ve had to patch them with iron-on mending fabric. No other pants I’ve used (such as blue jeans) have had this problem. I’d say if you are running a gripper type seat avoid these pants.

I want to know where you go off road riding in Pennsylvania. I live in Pennsylvania and the only place I can go off road are privet ATV parks, AOAA & Reading outdoor park. Even those are over an hour away from me.

Pay to ride I go to Rock Run Recreation & Mountain Ridge ATV. there are some portions of private property that the public can ride in towns of Ramey & Portage. I also have a cabin up north in Pottersdale , plenty of good riding up there, it's kinda in the center of the PA-BDR X,

another option is Allegheny national forest there’s a lot of good trails up there you can ride for free. It’s about 3 hours from me but it’s a nice ride up there and great camping. Makes for a good weekend.
Another option is hillsville in Lawrence county (where I live) it’s pretty heavily used but basically it’s an old quarry and there’s tons of trails and riding out there.

I bought a pair and had to modify them. I definitely wouldn't buy another pair.

The zipper is so your jacket doesn't ride up your back and expose your skin if you fall..whats the purpose of buying riding gear then removing/not utilizing what actually makes it riding gear lol.

The zippers and the buckles are made out of plastic they break easy. Looks like the company would have had enough sense to figure that out. I bet I've had thousands complaints

Did he really say he don’t like pe pads and if he falls over that’s his problem..😂😂 yea that sounds like a plan until you bang yourself up and the part you banged up aches months later messing with your quality of life which all could had been prevented with a knee pad! 🙋🏾‍♂️ never had your mentality but after a fall doing barely no mph. I never understood why I was unable to get out of bed and walk for a month , with serious pain just trying to roll over side to side to get comfortable in bed , I decided I’ll never ride without pads! And this fall happen sept 2023 and my left knee crack n pop up every stair! Definitely not fun stuff man! Wear your pads !

These are junk. Wore them one time and the ass end wore through as well as a rip on the right pant leg around the boot. Told the company and they offered me a discount on another pair. No thanks. Beware, these are for very mild adventure riding if that!!

I'd send the pants back if the zipper broke!
