Is it a new revision? If I'm not wrong, there was a problem with this device, the chipset is a very old rk3326 instead of anounced rk3562. This explains the poor performance in some emulators.
Just an FYI, the producer of this LIED about what APU was in this ... this was NOT the 3562 but in reality was the 3362 chip in it which made it significantly underpowered for the price.
I read the chipset isn't the one the company announced and that it has serious heating issues. Will order a RG28XX instead, which is also more pocket friendly (I'm not gonna play PSP in such a 4:3 tiny screen either).
They have been all the rage for quite a while. I think handhelds like this started to become popular around the time of when the original Anbernic RG350 and Miyoo's Bittboy came out around 2019, and it only became more popular after that. The release of the Miyoo Mini made these a lot more popular, which came out in 2022 IIRC.
@@adamkane7513 They really do! Seeing how fast they get better is awesome to see! You're totally right that they have been around for way longer than the RG350. However, I think around the time of the release of the RG350 there came a whole new "wave" of popularity/new users. Since then a lot of new handheld focused RUclips channels have started popping up, brands have started to become more recognizable and the progress and quality in emulation handhelds has exploded :) Before the RG350 came out it was still quite a niche that most (gaming) people didn't know about, now many of my friends have one or more emulation handheld device.
64$ is too much. I have found a arcade type with similar system that runs Sega, arcades etc and it is only 16$, that is a goo price. It can play movies (mp4 and avi tested) and music. for that price is a bargain, but this one ... too expensive.
I might get this, it's practically my RG28XX but with sticks as well.
Yes, i like this device, only downside so far for me was that it gets very hot on the right side of the screen
This device has a very unique screen that heats like the sun. Never take it over 30% Brightness.
@ does not get much better with low brightness for le
It may not be perfect but for it's size it does pack a punch. I would buy one. Good review and cool video Wicked!👍

Still love this mini handheld ❤

Every day a new handheld is born

The insides are almost identical to the RG28XX, besides the location of the volume/menu/usb ports. I wonder who copied who? 😂
Actually it's not, this creator of this lied about what APU was in this and it wasn't the 3562 but the 3362 so actually less power than the RG28xx
@@magis123 I'm talking about its design, not its specs...
The link goes to a site says no roms with machine!
On my OG gameboy I used to play the crap outta gator pinball
Why not sega-style d-pad, 3.5+ inch screen and PSP-style front-facing speakers?
You might want to look at the Anbernic rg cube xx for that.
Don't know how you can use the d pad for fighting games. The sticks are so much easier to pull off moves
for rolling motions, maybe, but not for double taps.
C64? Speccy? Amiga? CPC?
Handhelds will be all the rage the next 12 to 18 months

Nice device but you can get an RG40XXH for a few dollars less at the regular Chinese retail outlets.

Way too small
You mean way too portable.
