The man being interviewed is Professor John Henry, a British doctor who specialised in toxicology. He often appeared in the media in drug-related stories. He was wasn't embarrassed by this interview, in fact he often joked about it. He's passed away now.
I remember watching this when it first came out and couldnt stop laughing. As silly as it seems its also ingenious how he sets the guy up being interviewed. A few times the guy got angry at ali but eventually couldnt keep a straight face. Absolutely hilarious even though i have seen it many times it never fails to make me laugh. He also done an american version too.
An incredibly authenthic detail is the mention of the bus between Egham and Staines, which almost nobody on Earth would know about. I used to take that bus once in a while when I lived in the UK.
@@gibsonms To be honest I could not be sure whether Staines was the destination he mentioned. I assumed it would be Staines, because that is where he lives. And I have to say that I wasn't in the 566 on any day when the driver drove it particularly well. It sounds like he says Riseley, but that does not make sense, since there is no single bus between Egham and Riseley, you have to change in Reading.

I was actually just thinking the same as you ended up saying, if you could convince the court it is your religion it might actually have worked. Most countries have laws that protect religious rituals/beliefs.
Hey you two 👍funniest part of that reaction was definitely you two, I seriously thought you had wet yourselves 🤣'tried to bone the cat' 🤣Brad nice try in the intro mate, though more like Ali Baba than Ali G🤣🤣that was a damn good laugh, it's 0630 here just woke up and you guys were the first thing I watched 😮today is going to be mad now with that stuck in my head🤣brilliant stuff 👏👏✌️🍻

Experts should have some experience in the matter. You'll never get that first time feeling ever again, no matter how much you take. Respect that, and just enjoy, or don't do it at all. Most drugs don't kill. The lack of water, food and sleep does. I say this as a unofficial expert with 28 active years in the field of Narcotica. Dont use heavy drugs and alcohol at the same time. And if Molly and Sosa are to rough on you, drink sugar and fruit (juices) to put it down a bit. Both hate fresh vitamins and sugar.
"The Government of Canada legalized, regulated and restricted access to cannabis on October 17, 2018. Under federal legislation: adults can possess up to 30 grams of legally-produced cannabis. adults can grow up to four cannabis plants per household" Amazing! Why the hell can't UK follow this? It's such a simple and effective way to cut out a huge money making line from criminals and allow peaceful smoking for pot users, With sensible regulations still in place.
Ali G has many really awesome interviews, man he pushes buttons and ask the best questions 😂 Ecstacy is interesting, it releases almost all of both "happy hormoces", serotonin and dopamine in the brain at once, u can't really overdoze on it since it just won't give any effect after the depots are emptied, though u can get so happy that u want to dance and can kind of dance til u die of dehydration, but still much less dangerous than alcohol There are no death numbers on ecstasy alone, it is almost always a combination of other drugs at the same time I am NOT condoning or suggesting for any1 to try it though, it is illegal in most countries and there is probably a reason for it Moonshine used to be sold a lot in Sweden, it was always about he same percentage as normal vodka(38-42%), it is illegal to produce at home since the state has monopoly on it so that they can get income and tax revenue from it
Some years ago I was chatting to an Iranian girl who told me about her parties in Tehran. "How did you get hold of alcohol?" I exclaimed. "Oh, I would just call my dealer," she replied...
@10:10 "there's no reason marijuana should be illegal", except that it's a drug and like every drug when you take it "you're running a big risk of making your body work not so well", like the expert says at the end.
It basically saved my life. I’ve had chronic pain for years, and usually I stick to CBD, but I take THC (caps) before bed if I’m really in pain. I don’t take it to get wasted. Otherwise I’d be killing my liver with Tylenol, which I still take at times, but not as often as I used to. I just wouldn’t take 10 mg on an empty stomach during the day unless I was planning a long nap. For that, it’s been a literal life saver. I’m not a big drug user and only vaped a couple of times in the last few years. Before that, never. I didn’t even drink until I was almost 30 and for a while that certainly worked for pain relief - until of course it didn’t and cannabis basically saved me from alcoholism. I never knew what being pain free was until I tried cannabis.
Keep it green 😂 I wish they'd legalise weed in the UK. It's been discussed many times, but I guess they can't figure out a way to tax it like booze or cigarettes. I've done just about every drug there is back in the day, but the only thing I'm addicted to is nicotine. I rest my case. ✌️❤️🇬🇧
No it’s not that In the uk prime ministers are all about their legacy and not one of those posh twods would ever risk being labelled the leader who legalised Not to mention it’s about the uk being a classy posh country it has an image to upkeep (apparently) BUT did you know that the uk govt produce most of the worlds cannabis and then sell it abroad Takes the p right ?
Yous should listen to the song he released with Shaggy called ‘Me Julie’ also the movie is brilliant, both huge over here when they came out😂👌🏼💙🏴
I still can't believe England hasn't legalised weed, disgraceful that such a right wing country like the USA has legalised it in many parts and pardoned people prisoned from it across the whole country but we still haven't.
Surely making weed legal just creates competition and lower prices (and stronger produce) from the illegal dealers, so I'm not 100 percent on the idea that it's safer in the long run. Of course the culture and lifestyle of a nation will have a great influence over the final outcome. The worst addiction is probably still social media in front of the wheel though, lol

There's 2 versions of Ali G's *"The Message"* on most subjects, one in the UK and one in the USA.
Drugs is one of them, which has 2 versions.
