My dad was at this concert. He said they had to play the song twice to get enough footage for the music video
I was there too. Your dad was right, they did play it twice. They asked the crowd if we minded if they filmed a music video and everyone lost their minds. They even turned up the lights so the crowd could be seen.
I feel like that would've been awesome
Dude thats sick wish i was my age in 1987 (14)

There will never be concerts as good as 80s metal concerts.
They went all out in the 80s.
Hearing the screams of the audience proves how much fun they were having. 🔥🔥

%RAVEPARTY 90''
Absolutely. 80's concerts were so awesome.
There were some in the 1970s! My teenage years. 🤘✌️
As a teenage girl who grew up in the eighties, this band was and still are part of my true metal haven. Both heavy and thrash metal had saved my ass and life. Long live metal. ; )
Rebella12 Wynn keep rockin the 80s girl! Stay rad 🤟🏼😎🤟🏼 have a great Christmas and new year

Hell yeah!
Rock n roll! \m/
And glam metal
Every time I saw them in person, my ears were ringing for two days after. The whole stadium would shake. If you had floor seats, you could feel the floor vibrating under your feet like an earthquake. I grew up listening to them and got to see them in their prime...Always a high energy concert where they played their hearts out. I don't know how they have any hearing at all at this point? They put on a phenomenal show and are a true metal band. I don't know if concerts will ever be like that again, as most new bands suck. Glad I got to enjoy some good music and experience so many concerts like this. Experiences are always more important than things. A Motley Crue concert is a priceless experience!
Hell yes! It was a fucking blast!😎🤘
Tiff...100%.. I grew up in this era. Later on in the early 80s I was stationed in England as an American servicemen. All this music just flooding everywhere you went. Wow I seriously miss those days
Been there too! Today, you'd have to wear a sheep mask, get a vaccine passport, stay in a hotel two weeks before attending etc.
It's true -- I remember those concerts from the 70s amd 80s when the floor would shake! What a GREAT feeling that was!
So true! I'm glad I got to see them in their prime as well.
All these years later I still think what Tommy did with the drums is so cool
Meh, kind of cheesy really.

Shit was fucking revolutionary
This is what EPIC...truly looks like! The kids will never understand...i just realized im old 🤣🍻

No guitarists could spin guitars like those two guys.
Being born in 1970 is the best thing that I could’ve ever gotten from my parents!! Thank you mom and dad!!!
BMX, Honda 80's, M-80s, no supervision all day. All at 8 years old. AC/DC, stealing older Brother's stash. Hot girls before the Great Expansion and Feminism.
I was born in 1970 too. As a little kid in the ‘70s we had awesome Saturday morning cartoons plus all the Sid and Marty Kroft Saturday morning shows. That stuff is pretty cheesy now when I look back on it, but my brother and I LOVED that stuff back then! And there was The Incredible Hulk and the Six Million Dollar Man, among many other classic tv shows. Then my middle school and high school years were in the ‘80s with the best rock and metal!!!! I joined marching band in high school and became a drummer and would come home from school and jam to all this great music! So glad my childhood and teen years were in the ‘70s and ‘80s!!!

I'm 53 and was lucky enough to see the Crue 5 times from '83 to '87, all in SoCal. My daughter was born in '95 and her bedtime song was Home Sweet Home and I sung it to her every night. She is 25 now and lives 8k miles from me in Australia. Whenever I hear it today, I smile - and cry. Thank you Vince, Tommy, Nikki and Mick.... You made my youth, hell, you made my life fucking awesome.
I'm now 56, saw them for the first time in 1984 shortly after the Ozzy Tour when they started headlining. I've seen them 40 times all together, last time in 2015 obviously.
Seen a few bad shows from them over the years, but most of them were awesome.

80s rock and metal concerts just seemed like the best thing ever. Stadium and arena shows went nuts with the lights and the pyro, and the small shows in the clubs were filled with massive mosh pits. Nowadays everyone just stands around with their phone cameras on.
I'm 59 yoa,, and saw these guys in Arlington, Tx. in the 80's,, killer work,, and you're right,, my kids don't get excited about their music,, the 80's,, single,, with disposable income to light the way,, shallow as hell,, but isn't that what youth is supposed to be?,, the hard partying and superficial relationships get old, eventually, but for a while,, damn it was fun.
+GrantH If you like seeing crowds going wild, nowadays, watch any Brazilian rock concert. They take it to a whole new level. But yeah those were some good times for rock concerts.

One of the coolest guitar riffs of all time
Lee killing the fuckin drums.....
MasterKushFunk I remember going backstage at this concert and getting on that drum cage. It was badass
In '88 as a 12 year old I wore out my Appetite for Destruction and Girls Girls Girls tapes. 10/10 would do it again.
+p3tr0l Me too!
+p3tr0l same here. ah the good old days
+p3tr0l Same, I was 11. Hysteria was another one.
Awsome
When the concert was just about to start the curtain was closed and it was red with Motley Cure written in silver, the curtain opened and the stage was empty with only a small amp and guitar on stage,I rember saying wth! Then the amps in the back rose up and all hell broke loose!!!
Motley is the best ever.Seen em 3 times from Tallahassee Florida to Nashville Tennessee. Rock on Crue.
This was when music was actually good. Love this song.
*Sips* yep, music was better back then
Now this is what the 80's was in a song, it will never be a better time I'd go back today lol. I still say the ozzy , bark at the moon, crues, shout at the devil was one of the best concerts of all
Mick Mars is 1 of the GREATEST GUITARIST !!!!! I LOVE MOTLEY CRUE!!!!
Eddie Van Halen is better
Mick Mars bringing that tone 🤘
I will always love Motley Crue. Rock is in my blood and I will not ever stop cranking great music like this.
Same here
Me too even if the entire thing is a sham... It only slightly matters because my favorite movies were full of actors playing roles- why should it bother me if Nikki didn't actually play bass on the albums until Dr feelgood?
loved Motley Crue in the 1980s in my youth, still do, but Tommy Lee is a beast for what he did to a young Jani Lane he raped him, according to Jani Lane's former wife
@@SaorAlba1970 holy crap. I mean I've never even considered things could've been that bad. But looking back I don't doubt these things
🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
Can you only imagine being there.......
It was great!!!
If these rappers were to go on tour with these rock stars back in the days these rappers would not last. PERIOD! They can’t even do it now with out them hurting themselves.
You'd be surprised.....I've seen some incredible performances
Rappers would been sorry
These Rockstars would of ran them over
Now that's how you do a kick ass rock video. I remember seeing this on a Saturday night in early summer 1987 on MTV... I was already a Crue fan. But this song became my favorite of theirs.
This stuff kicks ass and I'm 14🤘🤘🤘 Long Live Mötley Crüe and Long Live Rock!!!
You were raised right
This is what real rock n' roll sounds like
hell yeah
fuck yeah!
no this is what glam metal sounds like, nothing wrong with glam but its not rock n roll :)
Exactly! And in my opinion the best glam metal band ever! But in all honesty there is too many subdivisions of this and that. Just enjoy it, at the end of the day who cares what its classified as? Not arguing, just throwing my view in there. Haha
Tahren Jansen there ya go.
This is just pure legends. No band will ever be as good as these guys!
Glam foreveeeerrr!!
Saw Motley Crue on this tour, Whitesnake was the opening act, in Roanoke VA, in September of 1987.... Great times
