Problem with degrees is that they are more focused on theoretical knowledge than Practical Knowledge

The only professor who is loyal to his profession and cares about students career. Rest of the teachers are in a loop of making money and just pass on the students to next semester.

My teacher of the first semester literally started the subject of ITC by giving the puzzles and critical thinking problems that helped me a lot even though I was from Biology background.

Really appreciate this video! As someone studying in the tech field, I can totally relate to the challenges mentioned. The gap between what we're taught and what's actually needed in the industry is real. It's frustrating how outdated some of the curricula are, and the lack of focus on modern tools leaves us unprepared. Thanks for addressing these issues and giving practical advice. Definitely a must-watch for anyone in IT or software engineering!

i think it is student's fault if they totally depend on what they are being taught in the universities if you have decided that you want to become a programmer or SE go and explore what is happening in the world everything is free

A significant reform is needed in our universities. First, we should either remove or upgrade the incompetent faculty to ensure high-quality education. The environment in universities also requires serious improvement-currently, many institutions have become hangout spots for wealthy students, with little focus on academic excellence or extracurricular activities. We also need stronger industry-academia collaborations, not just for tier 1 universities, but also for tier 2 and tier 3 institutions, where many underprivileged students study. These students often possess exceptional talent, but their potential is wasted due to the stigma attached to their university's ranking.
Unfortunately, many are in comfort zones and resistant to change. In the end, it is the students who suffer, often regretting their decision to enroll and eventually shifting to other mediocre careers.

So true and I recommend that before driving into the depth of programming one should be trained to think logically.

Sir the video was so good. Actually I am also noticing the trend that people are asking others not to waste their time doing degree and just learn some framework language and go for a job or whatever. I think these people are so dangerous for already destroyed IT industry in Pakistan. I would say that if someone does not like the system and does not want to go to some uni etc he/she should get knowledge. Yes degree is a piece of paper but knowledge is what which will take you to the next level and make you successful and if your parents are paying fee for a top tier university go and study day in and night out and learn beyond what they teach using 5 6 years old slides. Read the text books in the outline of university courses you are blessed i guess

Sir, could you please also guide us on how to build logical thinking in programming? This is a really great challenge for many of us.

these skills are built gradually and only you can do it no video or course will teach you this try solving problems related to anything you have a decent knowledge of and consume quality content like debates , lectures etc see the world by zooming it out. Overall the only way is to destroy everything that is bad for you in your personality and try doing difficult things it will be frustrating in the beginning but soon you will enjoy the journey.
