Goumang: Didn't do it, but is too much of a diva to NOT make a scene about it. Jiequan: Probably thought of doing it and blaming someone else just for the chaos but got beaten to it, and decided to cause MORE chaos instead. Fuxi and Nuwa: Didn't do it and don't really care, but the moment Jiequan interrupts Nuwa's moment of bonding with Fuxi she goes ballistic. Ji: Decides against getting involved in the chaos, in reality is an accomplice because he probably foresaw Eigong breaking the coffee machine and instead kept shut because none of them are actually going to kill him so he deems it a waste of time. Eigong: Caused the conflict that eventually will break the group but acted innocent instead and tried to pass as an authority figure. Yi: Probably the owner of the coffee machine.
Considering how advanced the solarians are, it would only make sense they'd have a coffee machine. Every council member had a lot of stress to go through.
Lady Ethereal picking up Yi at 0:18 is amazing in ways that are hard to articulate. In all seriousness, this is genuinely one of the best takes on this sequence I've seen; the characters fit to a tee (especially the way they immediately fall into back-stabbing) and the art work is immaculate. Great stuff!
Gosh *DANG* this has been one of the best versions of these i've ever seen! So many details, expressions, nice animation, fitting role and some extra jokes and funny bits hidden throughout that add to it. This is awesome!
the part where Yanlao walks around to Kuafu and Iady Ethereal quickly pick yi up and away from the crossfire range is so smooth, and I can't stop laughing at yi trying to stick his tao charm to fight Goumang 🤣
Holy shit this is great! I swear it gets funnier the more i look and think about it. Of course Ethereal would want to take the blame. Of course Ji would stay quiet along with Fuxi (zombified or not). Of course Yanlao would be a bit annoying about it while Goumang takes attacks personally along with Nuwa. Its all so right!!
omg I just realized there's an animation inside the animation! Ji is watching everything that's gonna happen a few seconds earlier like when Jiequan is about to make the Fengs mad 0:41 and after it appears in the cristal ball it happens, and right after that, sees how Yi is about to hear Eigong confess and then Yi is clinging to the edge of the chasm that's a great hidden detail!
I don't really do shipping in any serious manner, but I feel that these two could've easily hooked up if things went a bit differently (as in, if Yi wasn't as much of a stonecold, science-pilled atheism-maxxing bingle, and if Lady E. wasn't already probably engaged to someone else)
