This and a few more"Land Of The Lost"movie cartoons..were based upon a popular ABC Radio Kids show..BTW:Mae Questel..also did some vo work for both the radio version and for the"Land Of The Lost"movie cartoons
I'm not sure about who did the voice of the turtle Prime Minister?(That could be the voice of Arnold Stang?)..but? It's possible..that the voice of"King Find All"was performed by Jackson Beck(BTW:On the"Land Of The Lost"kids radio series.."King Find All"was depicted as an invisible monarch).
Originally released by Paramount in January 1950, and the second of the brief "Land of the Lost" series- adapted from the radio show created and written by Isabel Manning Hewson (which was off the air at the time this appeared).
The idea was that once something became a part of "The Land of the Lost", it was to *stay* there, and live in some fanciful place with other "lost" items of their kind (for example, if the lost item was a marble, it would be sent to "Marble-ous City").
my son likes this better than spongebob or how some of those spongebob voices worked for that kinda stuff the voices of squidward and plankton then when he was younger
Voice actor voices fish is similar to Bluto in Popeyes cartoons same girls to the girl who voices olive oil and Popeye, to his credit is like the Mel blank in this novel toon cartoons
I've been looking for this cartoon for years! 😭 I'm on a journey to finding all of the old cartoons I watched on VHS as a child. ♥️ Thank you!
Queen Tiara used to scare the shit outta me when I was little.

This cartoon is on one of my dvds, but from some reason, the bit where Isabelle looses her pin was cut out.

It's funny how the first two Land of the Lost cartoons had basically the same dialogue.
They were adapted from Isabel Manning Hewsom's radio scripts.

From the way other jewels snubbed Hoppy-Go-Lucky, it should've been plain that he wasn't a real jewel.

Can you say deja vu? Why not have any continuity?

Each cartoon studio had it's own,"Mel Blanc,"like Dayton Allen for Terrytoons or Jack Mercer for Famous.
@@richardranke3158 I guess so

It isn't; but she sure does look like her... And she sounds like her too!
BBBG that's what I thought at first too.

No, that's Isabelle.
Mae Questal must have used a similar voice.(She did female voices for Paramount's cartoons.)
Badal
They just never make them like they use to

Similar to the Land of the Lost cartoon
Who in their right mind would trust that creepy ass fish
"Red Lantern" sounded more "fussy" on radio (a few times, Art Carney played him before the mike)- but he wasn't "creepy ass".
