NC40 isn’t you’re shade at all!!! It gets grey because it has peach undertones and you’re a yellow undertone. NC42 is absolutely perfect for you and you just need to use a concealer for brightening on high points.
@@rb757 you don’t know how she sets or what uses under the powder. I use a way lighter liquid foundation under my darker powder and it comes out right at the end
I had the same problem. Sometimes it looks my perfect shade and sometimes it looks two shades darker. I had to find the reason why it is so. Even when I use it on my foundation it makes my liquid foundation darker. So, when my skin is making more oils, it turn darker. If my skin is perfectly moisturised and well balanced pH, it shows the true nc42 shade and remains balanced.

If you are wanting to reduce greys in skin then you can’t as this is hereditary for Indians, but to keep skin brighter on rest of face you much exfoliate regularly and look after the under eyes by using anti aging creams and keep well hydrated x
Di use Mac mineralise compact its more better than Mac studio fix compact.. I bought that compact from the Mac store in Chennai.. it’s amazing n its good for acne prone oily sensitive skin it was suggested by that store in charge he gave me according to my skin.. and it’s really nice

All of the “ nc40 is not your shade “ 😂 girl you could use either or. NC40 blends into your neck. Nc42 gives you a little more color. However once your makeup is complete nobody would know the difference. They may think they would but they will not

Try C5 shade along with the nc42. It will blend better.
