I enjoyed tonight’s ppv BUT AEW needs to not only train their refs more(too many obvious 2.99 counts, to the point ref hovers their arm at 2 waiting for a kick out.) BUT THEY ALSO NEED TO STOP THE STUPID OVER USE IN REVERSALs, it just looks so cartoony.
There were some down spots, but I overall enjoyed Forbidden Door. Bryan Danielson vs. Shingo Takagi was great, and Swerve Strickland vs. Will Ospreay was an awesome main event. Swerve has been on an excellent run as world champion, and I agree with you that Ospreay will be AEW World Champion in 2025. I would prefer Swerve holding the title for the rest of 2024 and then have Ospreay win the title from Swerve at All In 2025. Probably won’t be this exact scenario, but I predict Will Ospreay will be AEW World Champion in 2025

Forbidden Door was overall a good show but it was hindered by the usual problems of AEW. Way to long and a lot of matches that didn't need to be on the card. Most of the Zero Hour matches were fine, but skippable. They were just ways to get more people on the card. Mariah May winning was the right choice and I think sets up her winning the Owen and turning on Toni. MJF was completely wasted in his match, he's your biggest draw and you put him in a completely forgettable curtain jerker. He should have been having a match against someone like ZSJ over Pockets. Speaking of, actually surprised ZSJ won. Bryan Danielson vs Singo was the match of the night for me, Danielson continues to be the best performer in AEW. Not surprised the DoucheBucks won, Caster's rap was on point because it's true. Okada is now just Buck's personal bitch and bag holder, he's the new Brandon Culter. Toni Storm and Mina was an okay match but all people will remember was the story of Three-way HLA and the kiss. Which had Meltzer blow his load. But remember AEW women's wrestlers want to be taken seriously. Jack Perry won the ladder match to no one surprise, but everyone was behind Takeshita. Honestly, Takeshita vs Mark Briscoe would have been a better match. Jericho continues to piss away his legacy with this awful gimmick, HOOK and Joe winning was the right choice, but we know this feud isn't over. Stephanie Vaquer proved she was the real money, as she carried the spoiled botching Diva. But Mercedes Hogan has creative control and was going to throw a tantrum if she didn't win. No one should have 2 title belts after only 3 matches. The only saving grace was Britt Baker returns, and Mercedes either really is a good actress was legit pissed off her spotlight was stole. People think the Punk/Elite egos were bad, they haven't seen anything yet. Moxley dropping the title was the right choice. Swerve vs Ospreay was a good match, even if it got out of hand with the kick outs at the end. I honestly expected them to put the title on Ospreay with just how badly Swerve has been handled since being champion. I'm glad I was wrong but it does raise the question. Who is the "Wild Card"? Is it Hangman or is it Opsreay? Overall it's a 6/10 show.
They were in the USB arena, not Nassau Colosseum
I kinda getting burn out with these ladder matches.. Nxt had a ladder match last month.. AEW had a ladder match last night. And now we have money in the bank on Saturday.. it’s like having all the last man standing matches throughout 2022.. I don’t want to see another ladder match for the rest of the year.
I will say this, Saraya is lowkey building herself back up

Not their best PPV or even in the top 5 of AEW PPVs but god damn that championship match was pure star power. Swerve just gets it and this win has solidfied his run and im excited for ALL IN season now. Also ive been saying the Toni/Mariah storyline is the best one in AEW currently, strong long term story telling and i think Mariah could win the title at wembley.
I didn’t enjoy the Mox match but the title did need to change. I did enjoy the show tho overall and Swerve vs Ospreay was an amazing match! 🔥

Im only here for Swerve Strickland. Didnt follow the story, dont watch AEW and i can say that the latter match and the main event was awesome. I have to go back and watch the rest of this
I have been a huge Mercedes fan since her Pandemic Era run with Bayley, even though I respect your views on wrestling, but to say she ain’t done anything in AEW is BS because she’s doing the one thing that people love her for: Killer Matches which I thought her match with Stephanie was a killer match tonight, but The Mercedes/Britt match is a big money women’s match for All In: Wembley II
And yes I’ve also criticized TK for his fanboyish hardcore/internet style booking which I dislike so much because the angles and stories are more important & draw more money than just booking matches especially on the fly & even you have said this numerous times which is what I agree with you on

What has Mercedes done though? Winning the title from willow isnt “game changing” for her. That part was obvious, her vs Britt might change that but for now nothing has changed

They always put on a good PPV, but the shows SUCK.. I usually just recap through youtube and check out the PPVs
They really need to cut the total of matches on their PPV. I’ll give it a 8/10
Disagree with the rating. There were botched in some of those matches & was not a fan of the TNT ladder match to be honest. There was some good matches but the botches & the ladder match made me cringe & didn’t like it. I give it a 6/10.
