The 1967 _Casino Royale_ was a spoof and a parody and therefore by far the most realistic of _all_ the James Bond films.
Ian Fleming died on August 12, 1964 so he obviously did not live to see how his first James Bond novel, i.e., _Casino Royale,_ was mangled in this nonsensical spoof and parody of his book, which is likely a good eventuality as doubtless he would not have liked it.

Did Mel Brooks work on this movie? This scene is so similar to climax of "Blazing Saddles".

The movie was produced by Charles Feldman.
