Damn the guitar is so clear lol. Compared to all the other instruments and vocals. It feels as if someone is just playing over the video. One of my fav songs from Muse. I wish I could have seen them live during the Absolution years.
Yes the instrument uses midi control on the quartz pick-up. This gives duel sound of strings and computer strings. Upside is you never have to worry about tuning and you get studio quality playback in a live setting
+Mark Bauz Indeed. it's one of my favourites, probably because it's the album I grew up with most out of all the Muse albums, my dad would always put it on in the car when I was younger, but it was only when I got older that I realised how much of a treasure Muse are and I fell in love with their music all over again ^-^
1) oos 2) bhar( for take a bow, map of, koc and super massive) 3) abso 4) drones 5) showbiz 6) The 2nd law 7) the resistence But for absolution all the songs performed in live are Excellent.

+Marco novelo I love it so much, he looks like he's genuinely enjoying being on stage and I get that vibe everytime I watch one of these videos and when I went to their concert a few days ago.

It scares the hell out of me And the end is all I can see And it scares the hell out of me And the end is all I can see It scares the hell out of me And the end is all I can see And it scares the hell out of me And the end is all I can see
I use to wonder why people posted comments with only lyrics to a song, I realize now its pretty useful when you try to sing along. I have never seen anyone say thank you for doing that, so allow me to be the first. Thank you for posting the lyrics so I can sing along, it is easier to get the inflections of the vocals when you actually know what the words are. Good job and keep it up man.
@@ws158 I am sure he is probably talking about the side mouth thing Matt Bellamy did to get the sound to the "whoa a whoa a whoa" part. Matt is also swallowing the mic to create the distortion effect you hear at that part. He does it a lot and also did it in the second verse of "Time is running out". Basically he creates his own distortion with the mic instead of having a crappy effects put over his voice or messing with an EQ. Its a genius idea because it sounds like its somewhere between lo-fi mics and actual distortion. It's literally a new effect because no one but him has actually used the mic for that purpose. The guy is really intelligent, kind of shows when their album "The 2nd Law" with the song "The 2nd Law: Isolated Systems" because what the voice says is actually true, according to the Conservation Laws of Thermodynamics the 2nd law is "In an isolated system entropy can only increase" The 1st law is "energy is neither created or destroyed only converted" they are unavoidable laws in advanced physics. Which is probably why this song is no longer performed live and why Matt Bellamy seems to be writing more about faith, hope, enlightenment and God. It seems as he moved away a bit from atheism. That is smart as well, because if you know you have 0 evidence towards God's existence why would you be a hypocrite and make a definitive choice in the opposite direction with equally just as much evidence against God's existence?
@jandcsirrine5 there's no official dvd available from this show. However, they used to broadcast it a lot on the local MTV in Belgium (TMF). So you might find a better quality on the internet. They also did an encore of 3 songs which they didn't broadcast at all.
The sound is gorgeously sharped, especially the second verse which make me mad !! Many guitarists used to tell that it comes from the strat Aloha but he has used it only to record the studio version (unless the solo though) if iI remember correctly so I think we have to look into his Diezel V4... I just made a vocal & guitar cover of this jewel on my channel if some "musers" are interested by it :') It remains my favorite one with Invincible but unfortunately a rare played one during tours :(
Hmmm…it can’t be good! I mean, to think their kinds of thoughts. “Look through a faithless eye, are you afraid to die? It scares the hell out of me!" ‘Nough said.
I believe in God, this song is fantastic. Makes you think when it can be viewed 2 different ways, from the perspective of an atheist who is about to die oooooooor because of the lines in the first and second verse points more towards their belief is dying because nothing is as simple as atheism tries to explain it to be. Very smart but Imma go ahead and say its probably the first interpretation because this song is no longer played live and lately Matt Bellamy has been writing more about faith, hope, enlightenment and God. He don't sound like much an atheist anymore. Atheist challenge......do DMT (its not harmful and it lasts around 15 minutes and its over) then come back and say you are an atheist. Everyone who I have talked to who was once an atheist after DMT (a natural substance and more natural than tylenol) they all seem to not believe atheism anymore either. They don't believe the dogma but they also can't believe atheists either and its because they see what happens when you die, its the chemical suspected to be released when you die, so DMT is as close to a near death experience without dying you can get. Its fairly fascinating, mostly because as they describe their experiences they start describing things close to what is written in the Torah, Quran and Vulgate Bible (the one that ends at the Gospel of John because everything after that book is false, its the closest to the Hebrew text.). My point being, there is a God because evolution didn't just work to give us consciousness and not work on the larger energy signature science proved existed, it either works or doesn't. Evolution is not selective and cannot be viewed that way. Evolution doesn't really explain our existence, it explains why and how there is a God, an energy signature evolved to develop consciousness and is why it is a part of this creation. If its a part of God then it is here because of God. Our final evolutionary step is pure consciousness aka a soul. The reason all you have to do is read in the Vulgate the verse they ask God "who is God" and he says "I am". He wasn't being a smart ass, he said it in a way that when you read it you get the answer, who is God? I am (so we all are because of our connection to him) I have just never seen an atheist who took DMT and was still an atheist after. It changes their mind in 15 minutes or less, I think they may realize at that point that God can exist outside the bounds of any book and it was humans who told them who God was not God, he didn't give himself the bad name, we did that for him. So I am not at all surprised atheism is a thing, organized religion helped spawn it, thats what is wrong, not God. He doesn't act like how they tell you he acts, its a falsehood and I applaud anyone who sees that, outside the confines of organized religion God is entirely plausible. The book atheist use to disprove his existence is a book that has been falsely interpreted called the King James Bible, and a book they don't actually believe. If you can't believe in God then why use the book that you despise, does that not make any explanation from it also false including why you are an atheist? Logic, that is literally logic and reasoning that is pretty sound. So why choose atheism when you use the bible as the backing for why you believe it, you believe you are an atheist off evidence you point out in the bible?????? WTF?? That is not actually logical. In the words of Muse, "Dig Down" and you get the answer and it is no ones responsibility but yours to do your research for you.
God is an existential illness to keep us weak and boxed in and easy to manipulate. Read your shitty book, but no one else cares. You make us sick with your schizophrenic bible spew.
My favorite muse song and my favorite song of all time! I've probably listened to it thousands of times. Fuck yeah.
Damn the guitar is so clear lol. Compared to all the other instruments and vocals. It feels as if someone is just playing over the video. One of my fav songs from Muse. I wish I could have seen them live during the Absolution years.

Less did they know about MUSE and their songs back then.. The greatest live band today..
awesome performance. Matt is special...
i think its cool that such a group of talented musicians can still screw around and have fun while still playing like beasts
Origin of Symmetry has a special place in my heart but Absolution is the best Muse album
This is actually the song that got me into Muse. I first heard that awesome solo and the ending of the song for an intro for some show.
I wish I looked that happy at my job. Makes me smile to watch.
MUSE ES LO MEJOR QUE ME PASO EN LA VIDA
Did the sound engineer wanna put the guitar any louder in the mix?
