I love that area of Scotland. In the autumn that path is awash with huge Fly Agaric mushrooms (the red ones with white spots) it's like a fairy fantasy!
Thanks for sharing your adventures ... it's too bad you didn't get to see the Northern Lights 🥺they are very beautiful. I get to see them occasionally here in the lower half of Saskatchewan but if you go more north they are absolutely stunning !!!
