Materials Used: Prismacolor Premier pencils, Strathmore bristol 400series, Black gel pens/markers for detailing.

But how to draw main structure before detailing?
There are many ways....free hand drawing is generally not accurate for photorealism. Some techniques I used are drawing with grids, drawing with proportional dividers etc. I have my own modified grid method. These terms may sound weird to you. Stay connected brother. I am planning to post a tutorial exactly for these methods soon to draw initial outlines 🙂

Great..can you please suggest how to choose colours
I generally look for values in an area than on a particular part. Best way will be to pick a color at a point using color picker softwares(search). Generally the dark tones are actually darker than our naked eye perceives. It can only be verified if you pick the color from reference and place it on a white background. I use an ios app called “Arty”. It has a color picker tool which will directly tell you which color to pick from Prisma, Poly or Luminance. With almost 80% accuracy. I hope it helps. 😀
