Videos of relatively intelligent and technical stuff like the above are a waste of time. Reason is that only people with a brain will watch, and people with a brain can read five or ten times faster than a speaker can deliver a lecture. Plus people with a brain like skimming over stuff they haven't got time for. Plus they like re-reading paragraphs which aren't clear. Plus if there's a conclusion, they like jumping to that to see if it's interesting. I watched some of the above, but I was itching to see a TRANSCRIPT. Long before the end of the lecture I ran out of time.
Videos are fine for ENTERTAINMENT STUFF, e.g. to accompany pop songs. But for lectures like the above, transcripts should be provided.

Ralph Musgrave I disagree because I love to play Bubble Shooter or clean my flat while listening to such lectures.
Very interesting lecture, by the way.
