  • Join Rick and I as we dive the wreck-site known as the FAMI Tugs. Funded in large part by the Florida Aquatic and Marine Institute, these ex-Navy (then commercial) tugs were intentionally sunk as part of Florida's vast artificial reef system. Initially separated nose to nose by a 30 foot tether, they became stacked when a powerful storm picked one tug up and deposited on top of the other. They are home to many species of fish and a local favorite for spearfishing, diving and bottom fishing. They lay just 12 miles off the Panama City's St Andrew's Pass at 2958.137N 8551.257W. I use DIVE + (Dive Plus) color editing for many of my videos.

Awesome wreck penetration shots, I wish I looked a bit more inside the tugs that dive, might have come across that goliath!
