nice one , props for providing this guidance , and props to Samsung for making this reasonably easy to repair , i was having some doubts half way through that my phone would survive , but it seems to be working fine now , though advice to others , be careful with the speaker , poked mine and its a little scuffed sounding now lol may have to replace it

Thank you sir. I was a able to replace my screen and recover my samsung notes, photos and thousands of tabs I had open in my phone. I had to replace the speaker and microphone etc for my service package model but I figured it out. Thanks a bunch!

Why would a new screen be unresponsive after installation? It charges and turns on but the screen is unresponsive. Thanks for the feedback.
Yes, as l thought, just looked at this for a bit of research & for a £100 phone it isn't worth paying for the new screen if l can get one & messing it up myself or paying someone else to do it. 😁

it makes getting the battery out alot easier, and reducing the risk of damaging the battery
When I was removing the battery I found prying it off with that adhesive wasn't great. I did not see any tear or puncture but noticed a nail polish smell. Is the battery damaged now?
if it has a very foul smell i would be thinking the battery has been punchered
is the heat pad necessary? Can i just pry it open without heating it up?

Hey do you have any recommendations/suggestions on how to properly seal the phone back up with the adhesive seal that was broken through with the card pry tool/picker and where the proper adhesive seal can be purchased? (After successfully replacing the screen on my Galaxy A12 months ago, water has been easily able to get into the phone slowly causing my screen to slowly go out until it finally went out completely). Timely feedback will be highly appreciated!

I had the glass of my screen installed about 3 months ago and for whatever reason has begun separating on the corners, what would be the best way to fix it
it shouldnt be lifting, i use B7000 frame adhesive.
i would suspect your battery might be expanding
My phone looks great now, and it boots up but why might my touchscreen not be working?
I would suspect faulty new screen, or the convector needs to be discovered and reconnected
If i do this do i keep all my photos and videos and apps an etc? I have a cracked screen an want to just fix it

The screws do not all fit into the new frame even tho it looks the same
not sure why that is the case, i would suspect aftermarket display
MY PHONE JUST CAUGHT FIRE. I TOSSED ACROSS THE ROOM, GRABBED THE TONGS AND THREW IT OUT IN THE YARD. Not YOUR fault of course... But, maybe you ought to mention being very careful and gentle while doing the battery removal. Guess I'll be going to Metro today and laying down hundreds because my plan doesn't mature for 2 more months. 🙄
rough stuff, im sorry for that but as im reading this comment i cant help but to think, anyone who doesent know puncturing a lithium battery is bad news probably shouldnt be taking electronics apart

@@rickstechrepairs yes fortunately :) was just pulling the battery up and it sparked and then loads of smoke started to billow out and then just exploded into a ball of fire! Managed to run it out into the garden but yeah that was an experience! But the tutorial was great had everything moved over but obviously had an angry battery!
jesus christ. have to disassemble the whole damn phone just to replace a cracked screen. ain't worth it. I'll just buy a new one. frigging Samsung.
Overall this produces a better quality of repair at the end, so I do prefer doing screen and frame repairs rather than screen only repairs
