- Today I take a deep dive into the upcoming debut of the World Poker Tour Voyage set to sail on March 31st leaving Miami. I sat down with WPT President & CEO Adam Pliska and Executive Director Matt Savage to find out more about the event, how the event came to be, what to expect from the event and much more. I've never been on a cruise of any kind before and I set out to learn more about what makes them different in this video.
I've also partnered with the WPT to giveaway some WPT Voyage cabin packages - I'm giving one away in this video and one away on my Twitter and Instagram pages. I read a book once. Miguel was the main character AND the antagonist. The author, Miguel, crafted an amazing story where both characters achieved their goals and the reader was left in awe and craving more.

Your poker life podcast has truly been how I've vicariously lived through the last two poker eras (the online and modern eras) as a serious recreational player. Thank you!
I would love for the chance to go on a mini-poker journey like this cruise and a chance to cash in one of these tournaments. I've always been able to beat online midstakes, but only as a part time hobby. If I were to bink a live tourney, my wife might finally approve of me taking the leap for a year to try to make it as a pro!

LEGION, Been rewatching HBO's Rome, and can't help but think if they had Mediterranean cruises back then maybe things would have turned out differently. Caesar's assassins wanted change, and the WPT wants to change poker. I would be honored to represent the legion on this voyage.

My friend and I have both never been on a cruise, he has also been married for 2+ years and has not been on honeymoon yet!

LEGION...would love to be able to take my fiance as a pre-wedding getaway to get her a break. She's been doing it all at home, while I work, including keeping our house in order and planning our June wedding. She's a great mother to 3 amazing children, and about to add a bonus 4th to the mix. Cruising has been her form of relaxation and getaway forever, but hasn't been able to get on one since our newest child was born. Her background is poker as well, as evident in her 10+ years of dealing poker and years and years of playing...this would be perfect for her
Legion : been working really hard to build a business the last couple years. Haven’t m really ever taken any real time off. LEGION.... I have recently committed 100% of my time and effort into poker as it is my passion. Just went through a complete life-changing experience as I lost someone extremely important to me and found myself completely lost as an individual. Poker was what gave me the motivation to keep going and I now know that it is what I want to do as a career. Going on this poker tour cruise would be a dream come true. Plus I'm already in Florida 🙂

I started grinding online poker about a year and a half ago, and I listen to all of your old podcasts with legends of the game to stay motivated and learn even through the hardest times. I’ve played a little bit live but I’ve never had a chance to play a big series or event like this, it would mean the world to me to get a shot. LEGION. I would love to be a part of this adventure. I’m retired and no longer able to take many vacations. This would be perfect as my passion is playing poker. I would play every day if I had the Bankroll for it. I was supposed to take a cruise a couple years ago but the weekend before I was to leave I ended up in the hospital for four days and although the doctors said I was OK to go, I didn’t Want to take a chance on having a relapse and missed the cruise (and also lost all the money I had paid for it as I didn’t buy travel insurance). Poor me. Anyway, count me in please!

I don't know. An often overlooked perk of WSOP being in Vegas is its fairly easy to separate yourself from the poker scene if u ever feel the need for a break. U can't do that on a ship. Besides, I don't think a ship could hold enough liquor for 3,000 poker players for a week. The wells would be dry by Day 3
Legion please pick me. As I proved during Run It Up Reno, I am an asset to a live tourney. I participate in both the poker and non-poker events. I am friendly and tend to learn many peoples names. I am a decent player, with a chance to make a run in a tourney. My plan is to play as many of the tourneys as possible. This includes any Omaha tourney. I've been studying and want test my new skills. I already know which red shirt I will be wearing. Of course, I will need new pjs. :)
