A few times in every ballplayers life the rim feels as big around as a swimming pool, when everything just goes right in, I saw it happen a few times to Goran this last season, but this game blew me away, i was privileged to be able to watch it live.
Look ... no tats. Amazing. Goran is HOF with great 3 and mid-range, incredible handles, drop-step from the Gods, great off-hand dribble and finish. Just a B-ball delight to watch.
"young man 2nd year in the league, used to wake up at 4 in his natives of Slovenia to watch his basketball idol play" "who was his idol? Steve Nash" -- now the guy become new idol of thousands bballer
@@muhammadwalid8440 You can't have your hands in the shooters territory. If you do and he shoots and hits your arms, it's a defensive foul. You need to have your arms straight up
@AnAvailibleUsername you are right, i believe his father is from bosnia, but of serbian descent, who moved to slovenia for work. his mother is slovenian, he and his brother were born in Ljubljana and grew up there. he's always played for the slovenian national team and there was never any doubt about that whatsoever. whatever, he's a great player & i'm looking forward to his next nba season!
@Qz3m If I remember correctly Green Dragon are fans of Olimpja and he was at Slovan. I remember Goran since following the Slovan vs Olimpija (of my countryman Halperin) battles of 2005/6 :)
@Gavrane1 Yeah, that's right. I forgot about his last year before the Suns, but I already was reminded on the other part. I remembered that when he played for Slovan there where rumors that Olimpija was going buy him for the next year, but his signed for TAU instead (he didn't play there, he was loaned to another team)
@yes4me Other possible factor: fatigue. He started to play at the end of the 3rd quarters when both teams were pretty tired. I think that's the best time to make him shine. Hopefully Gentry will realize that, and make other proper (=better) adjustments in order to beat the Lakers
@ptaknick don't worry, you guys got brooks. he hasn't been 100% all year and has struggled accordingly but if he gets back to last year's form he's a killer. brooks was my man and it was sad to see him go but i've been a dragic fan since watching this game last year
Watching Dragic and Barbosa in this video...it's crazy how much more confident I am in Dragic than Barbosa. Barbosa looked out of control almost every time he touched the ball, where Dragic dominated it. Dragic is going to be one heck of a player in a few years...
@Qz3m No, I'm from Israel. Halperin played at that year for Olimpija Ljubljana, and he is one of my favorite player ( He is not doing well this season :( )
@AnAvailibleUsername true, but he's slovenian...he lived in slovenia all his life, played for slovenian clubs, he plays for our national team as well...so yeah hope people dont keep making the mistake that he's serbian
I've always loved the Suns and they should've won the past few Playoffs...but didn't because of misfortune and injuries. But this video makes me very happy and hopeful that THIS year might be THE ONE! Forget LBJ- he's so overhyped. Dragic is the sleeping dragon that LBJ should be REALLY afraid of.
Both Rockets fans and Suns fan have mixed emotions on the trade, we loved dragic so much but i can tell houston feel the same on brooks, hope both players succeed on the path theyre headed
@sunsetally You want to say that nobody did that before? If not, I'll do it! I'm ashamed that I still haven't done any video of Nash... He is one of my most favorite players.
his performance was definitely a wake up call to the spurs. but this performance doesnt surprise me, in rd1 vs the mavs roddy beaubois entered the game midway in the 3rd qtr and scored 16 pts. but for some weird reason rick carlisle benched him in the 4th haha
I don't think anyone have any doubt he is not really a factor (so far) for the suns or that he is suddenly the next Micheal Jordan, but he did play really well this time and was a big factor into one important game of the playoff. Such effort of an low key person is commensurable regardless of the outcome of the entire series. And saying that effort is meaningless because the Lakers will wipe Suns is pointless. I could say the same about the East coast wiping Lakers.
I watched both videos over 20 times by now. As much a fan I am of the Suns and of Goran, you can see how easily Goran was able to get in the paint because of weak defense of the Spurs. This is not happening as well when they are now playing the Lakers. But the offense of the Suns is not perfect either imo. Look at 4'44 for example. I wonder what Barbosa can do staying in the corner like that.
You call him a dragon, because of his last name, but what is even more interesting, he is coming from city Ljubljana, and the the symbol of this city really is a dragon :). There is even a cheer group called Green Dragons.
@JGARCIA415 But to be honest, I'm cheering for the somewhat "underdog of the Western Conf" : The Suns They haven't won a series for a while and I think they could finally pull it off this year. This video proves it!
Aleksandar Dzikic was also a head coach of two biggest Slovenian clubs in the last three years. You want more names of the Serbian coaches that worked in Slovenia, in the last decade or more?: Bojan Lazić, Marko Radovanović, Spasoje Todorovič, Rado Trifunović...
@ norina195: how is LBJ overhyped??? Hes argueably the best player in the league.... I like the spurs, but its always nice to see someone unexpected have a game like that.....
ma man brooks, ill miss watching u, but i think dragic will fit well. Now the trade with battier ma man chase budinger can finally get some serious minutes
@nedostizni2 I named the a few back there the ones that made your nation of ski jumpers, what you are today - a decent European basketball nation. And guess what, they are Serbs. Oh one more thing - lets not forget the firs Slovenian player that went to NBA - Marko Milic. What a coincidence - his father is also a Serb. Oh, lets not forget the best present player Slovenian football player (both father and mother are serbs) Milivoje Novakovic.
The difference a great coach can make. The confidence he gave Goran, and what it unleashed against the dynasty spurs...incredible
A few times in every ballplayers life the rim feels as big around as a swimming pool, when everything just goes right in, I saw it happen a few times to Goran this last season, but this game blew me away, i was privileged to be able to watch it live.
its rediculous how underrated this man is
one of my favorite international players, watching this game made me a fan of him
i could watch this 10 TIMES IN A ROW and not get bored
Look ... no tats. Amazing. Goran is HOF with great 3 and mid-range, incredible handles, drop-step from the Gods, great off-hand dribble and finish. Just a B-ball delight to watch.
he deserves waaaaay more recognition
sooo clutch, i was cheering at the tv :D great to see all his hard work pay off, pretty inspiring if you ask me
"young man 2nd year in the league, used to wake up at 4 in his natives of Slovenia to watch his basketball idol play" "who was his idol? Steve Nash" -- now the guy become new idol of thousands bballer
Tonight, I am Nash.
I dont understand why 4:49 is foul?
@@muhammadwalid8440 You can't have your hands in the shooters territory. If you do and he shoots and hits your arms, it's a defensive foul. You need to have your arms straight up
you can tell how great the chemistry this suns team has...after the game, everyone hugged Dragic, so family like, thats how connected this team is.
I was waiting out of curiosity for that video all night long. thx you. for posting
Welcome back to Phoenix Goran! Go Suns! Can't wait for the season to start.
I sold liquer to him at the Mill Ave CVS pharmacy at 1am last night! :D
I can remember this game. The weather was so bad I couldn't even watch the game live at our house. I missed a dang good game.
I'm ecstatic that he's back. I can't wait to see him in a Suns jersey again.
wow............wow..........fundamentally sound, hustles, we need more players like this in the NBA
That 4 pt play made me lol'd and then I realized I was witnessing something special
what a great game by that kid
that was awesome I saw the game...intense
Dragic dominated that game...
way to go Phoenix
I'm from Slovenia too. Hhe's very good for that small country
this guy make me like basketball........i am in Slovenia.....Eurobasket rocks
Man that was a fun year. We had such a deep bench. Go Suns! We'll be back soon enough!
@Qz3m If I remember correctly Green Dragon are fans of Olimpja and he was at Slovan.
I remember Goran since following the Slovan vs Olimpija (of my countryman Halperin) battles of 2005/6 :)
thanks phoenix for giving us dragic
@Gavrane1 Yeah, that's right. I forgot about his last year before the Suns, but I already was reminded on the other part.

Just in case you missed it, here is most of the Dragic show highlights. Incredible.
Thanks for these. Great videos!
so long thanks for stepping up in phoenix!
@yes4me Other possible factor: fatigue. He started to play at the end of the 3rd quarters when both teams were pretty tired. I think that's the best time to make him shine. Hopefully Gentry will realize that, and make other proper (=better) adjustments in order to beat the Lakers
like the coomercial, this is where the amazing happens.. big applause for Goran
@ptaknick don't worry, you guys got brooks. he hasn't been 100% all year and has struggled accordingly but if he gets back to last year's form he's a killer. brooks was my man and it was sad to see him go but i've been a dragic fan since watching this game last year
great game! hope Phx will do it again on game four!
Watching Dragic and Barbosa in this video...it's crazy how much more confident I am in Dragic than Barbosa. Barbosa looked out of control almost every time he touched the ball, where Dragic dominated it.
Dragic is going to be one heck of a player in a few years...
@Qz3m
No, I'm from Israel. Halperin played at that year for Olimpija Ljubljana, and he is one of my favorite player ( He is not doing well this season :( )
This was such an awesome game to watch.ITS R TURN!
@AP3 I think Dragic wasn't performing to his full potential in Phx. We are sad to see him go, but hope he's a great player for you guys in Houston
Can't wait for him to rise up this year!!!!
i love this guy.so happy in miami
@AnAvailibleUsername true, but he's slovenian...he lived in slovenia all his life, played for slovenian clubs, he plays for our national team as well...so yeah hope people dont keep making the mistake that he's serbian
tournament in Turkey will be goran"s tournament!! SLOVENIA
KAPETAN !!! 💪💪💪 sLOVEnia ❤ U
Balled the brakes off of the world champion caliber spurs in the 4th quarter. He was "happy to have a good game". 👍
0:48 pulls the rebound and shows his handles and nice cross court in traffic..
This was like the finals for me as a Suns fan.
cant wait for the playoffs! houston rockets will have the goran dragic show.
@AnAvailibleUsername true true, are you slovenian?
@AnAvailibleUsername
true. but i think he still loves slovenia more. afterall he doesnt live in serbia doesnt he?
Thumbs up if you get goosebumps everytime you watch this
I've always loved the Suns and they should've won the past few Playoffs...but didn't because of misfortune and injuries.

Dragic is the sleeping dragon that LBJ should be REALLY afraid of.
I know the spurs was like "where the hell did this kid come from?" HAHAHA
Goooran Dragič!!!!
@multiReact Btw, somebody told me years ago that his father is Serbian and his mother is Slovenian.
Both Rockets fans and Suns fan have mixed emotions on the trade, we loved dragic so much but i can tell houston feel the same on brooks, hope both players succeed on the path theyre headed
Steve Nash reacting like a proud father here
thank U for the video!!!
@Hazedream croatian sensation? he's from slovenia:)
@Hazedream goran dragic is from Slovenia not croatia
@TWex2121 guards like kobe and wade thrive to, not typically dragic kind of guard. he definitely came out with a hot hand today
@sunsetally it was game 3
@sunsetally You want to say that nobody did that before?
If not, I'll do it!
I'm ashamed that I still haven't done any video of Nash... He is one of my most favorite players.
@jakahitlor he's Slovenian
I am gonna miss him.

Great coach :O! Knows what he's doing
@sunsetally The second part already there. The first part is being uploaded.
Thanks Suns front office :)
Forget Celtics vs. Lakers, Suns vs. Spurs is the best NBA rivalry.
when nash retires in a couple of years it shouldn't be a problem since u got the croatian sensation goran dragic in the wings..
@AnAvailibleUsername i don't know about that, i only know he's slovenian
Steve Nash is so proud here

Infact both are doing the hakeem dream shake :)
@ norina195: how is LBJ overhyped??? Hes argueably the best player in the league....
I like the spurs, but its always nice to see someone unexpected have a game like that.....
SLOVENIA!!!❤❤❤
@reelmusiq101 Why would Sasha dislike this vid. It has to be some Spurs person
Great foot work. Playoff star.
what's vujacic's deal with him then? why all the animosity?
We are 2.000.000, not 15.
@molonlave2010 Mad he's not a Phoenix Sun anymore :(
ma man brooks, ill miss watching u, but i think dragic will fit well. Now the trade with battier ma man chase budinger can finally get some serious minutes
He's got the same shooting form as Delonte West. :0
Why the hell did phoenix trade him?
Youre gonna fit the Rockets well.
1:23 the announcer says he did rajon rondo move. today the announcer says that rondo did a dragic move O.o
@AnAvailibleUsername
yeah it's true but he was born in slovenia and his surname isn't exactly slovenian
@nedostizni2 I named the a few back there the ones that made your nation of ski jumpers, what you are today - a decent European basketball nation.

God damnit I miss this kid :(

Welcome to Houston

They should make a new movie: how to learn from the DRAGON!:)
gooo Dragic, gooo Phoenix!!!!
Id like to see Vujacic do this
