If all gospel songs were just slow songs with pianos, a choir, & a solo vocalist singing long riffs & runs, people would get bored of it and turned off by gospel music. We can't share the message the same way ALL the time, or else some people will never get it. We can't share the message the same way ALL the time, or else some people will never get it. WOW. I rarely EVER comment on RUclips videos but man this is just crazy to me how so many people, believers of Christ especially are the ones attacking this song! I mean c’mon guys really??? Majority of the song she is saying “I LOVE GOD”! but people are finding a problem with it simply because of her cadence and the beat? Cleary Erica Campbell didn’t go in recording this song with the intentions of “OH I want to be like all the other rappers of this era so I can fit in and conform to the world” but that’s how a lot of people are perceiving it. NO! She went in recording this song looking to connect to probably a younger generation trying to get them excited about GOD and it’s WORKED!!! I heard all my little cousins jamming to this a few weeks ago straight acapella, and I was immediately intrigued without even hearing the song before. So finally I came to check it out today, but sadden by the amount of disdain people have for a wonderful catchy song about LOVING GOD! Goes to show that even with the most positive messages there will ALWAYS be dislikes. Erica I just want to know if you ever see this that there are defiantly people who LOVE what you are doing in the name of God and how you so effortlessly connect to the younger generation with your music !
