Alot of the old school NY rappers like Melle Mel, Eric b., big daddy kane messed with pac. It would've changed the game had that one nation album dropped while he was living and it would've changed the narrative that death row was keeping the east vs west going, when in actuality death row had beef with bad boy and affiliates. If anything the eastcoast artists were riding off the wave of the beef. Alot of eastcoast rappers threw subliminals but to the media they played innocent. They hated on the south too when we started to shine. Not all eastcoast artists hated but the ones that wasn't selling records did.
