Psych NP student here, I love your channel. You give really great information in a way that is very easy to understand. I wish you much success and look forward to learning more from you!
Hi and thank you so much for answering my questions. I didn't ever consider that I might be lacking in something like Vit B or D or Magnesium. Thanks so much I will speak to my doctor
Healthcare professionals say it takes 2-4 weeks to completely settle on SSRIs. However, it took me exactly five months on the same dose to level and I endured uncomfortable side effects for that whole time. I'm part of a Facebook group where others have had the same experience. Why is there a lack of information about length of time and how debilitatingthe side effects can be? Conversely, I had a very positive experience on Ativan (1.5 daily), didn't become dependent and tapered off slowly with ZERO withdrawals - would you welcome more positive discourse around benzos?
What are the benefits of Fluoxetine combined with Buspirone? I take 40 mgs of Fluoxetine and 30 mgs 2x daily of Buspirone. I believe I have anxiety induced depression
It depends on source of anxiety and agitation. If due to Bipolar or Schizophrenia diagnosis then that is not a good replacement and you will need a mood stabilizer or antipsychotic. Also consider that Seroquel can cause restlessness and agitation as a side effect, so tapering off it could help too.
