This is a great knife and one of my favorite Demko designs. Good review.

The clip is shaped with the lip close to the handle on purpose, to keep the clip from catching on things and either bending the clip and damaging it, or endangering you. I know, you dont think its ever going to happen - until it does. I wrecked a number of CRKT clips that way.

Yeah I’d say so if you like the design. I only have the 4 Max Scout still but that’s a good deal imo

Scales--odd pockt knife companies use various grades of "plastic composite" (FRN, Grivery, G10 ...is Micarta ot just another type??). I mean they work but plastic maerial will alwys be cheap feeling vs a 'wood like handle (kitchen knives)" vs Cf vs Alu vs Ti.... Why not use kitchen knife handle material as well?
Folding knife steels---why is it that there are so many kinds yet the "stainless" or "rust resistent" are only "partly" and not 1000 perent?? Some reviewers on YT say LC200n is totally rust proof...some say it's "mostly...". If you can get TOTALLY rust proof SS steel on a $10 generic kitchen knife....what does this really say about the quality of steels used today?? is it below that of kitchen knives...from their cheapest to the most expensive. ???
Why i try to avoid spending "too much money" on one folding knife. More than the cost of a PM2 or at most ZT 357 or 350. . to each his own. :) If you're comfortble spening $750 on a CRK knife...go ahead. ...for whatever you're really using your knives for...

Kitchen knives aren't 100% rust proof. And pocket knife steel generally holds an edge better than the steel on cheap kitchen knives.

You just sound goofy, and like you know nothing about steel at all.
