During the time that this bug was a thing, if you turned off "Bloom" in the settings, it would completely remove the bright light off the car, while still keeping the decal completely white. So even if you were running a car like this, if the opponent had the setting turned off, they wouldn't see the effect.

I noticed the same thing as well with the same decal on my car. It first worked fine. Then my car got a bright Red one day out of nowhere. because I use the paint job like a sunset Red on my car. And at the time I was using the Nimbus car when I use this decal. But since I became a member of NRG I have those decals for the OCTANE. So I gave my Nimbus car a rest because of the brightness of the paint job on my nimbus car almost gave me a headache and went back to used the OCTANE. So I’m they fixed that issue. Funny you messed up the MUSTY FLICK in your second match. I would love for you to play me 1v1 in a match I feel like I can keep up with you. Honestly i’m at Level 254 right now. I usually don’t play rank mode. Because no one really plays it.
