- In the long run pretty much everything can be made from cobble. I build the first of probably many cobble gens in this episode

I'm fairly certain this is not what "a whiskey on the rocks" means.
Now that you overstressed the system once, the windmill is actually synchronized
you love to see it
You can see earlier in the video before he over stressed the system the windmill is in sync...?
this brings me peace
At least something’s nice
R.I.P illmill
Making two funnels kiss actually makes it faster, since the item gets placed further back so it doesn't need to travel as far

60 x 60 million block strip world
If only there was vodkalogging...
I have no clue what the combination of those three words in the title means yet, but I already know it's going to be awesome
Same.
I wonder if he can make an infinite whisky source now?
@@average-neco-arc-enjoyer Docm77 wants to know his location. /j
Simple, it means making a cobble gen while being drunk on whiskey 😂
I want to see his reaction when he finds out about the recipe that allows you to craft ingots from sheets by sawing them.
He used that last episode
@@arrow_awsome yeah I know. He didn't realize though that he can scrap his ingot mold crafting part.
@@gerferies It requires something else though - you need to automate crystallization catalysts instead of ingot molds.
You can run the crushing wheels horizontally! That way it's alot easier to reign in the height drift in your contraptions
You can even run them up-side-down with a fan underneath
you can use an "Attibute filter" to blacklist anything thats "not washable", then cobblestone and everthing doesn't go through, but the ores do, because they cannot be washed
You have an incorrect double negative there, either you blacklist "washable" or you whitelist "not washable".
@@killerbee.13 thats what i meant, sorry. but you get the jist of what im trying to say :D
Attibute

About machines "sagging"/going downwards: I usually build machines "in reverse", i.e. starting with the output chest. Since that is the one that needs to be accessed most frequently once the machine is running, it's the one whose position matters the most.
Press A in your inventory to add the item in your favorites.
It's easier for the reciepes
"VodkaLogging" - I never thought I'd hear that word
I have several things to point out on create engineering.
As some coments pointed out, the attribute filter can solve the washing problem, what thay failed to note is that if your item can be washed several times it will produce the final product because the intermediate "can be washed". To solve this issue it is possible to nest filters inside each other, this can be done up to NBT nest limit and has the nice bonus of not consuming the attribute filter since the container filter takes a snapshot of it.
The crushing wheels can be run in any direction. Running them upwards is not very useful, because you need a chute with a fan blowing upwards, a dropper, launching the items into the crushing wheels from below or any item transportation method that moves items upwards. The output on the top flings items vertically a short distance, they can be picked up by a funnel or can be directly placed on an inventory like a chest, or more likely, a belt.
The easiest crushing wheel configuration is horizontally on a belt with a shaft on the belt and two vertical gearboxes connected to that shaft.
The fastest item sorting requires a multiblock item vault with brass funnels, Ilmango built it unknowningly.
Extending the funnel is mostly aesthetic, but if you combine it with tunnels you can have a belt that does not accept dropped items by accident.
Finally, the fastest possible cobblestone generators use a mechanical piston to move a slab of any solid block between a layer of water and open ended pipes with lava, this method exploits the fact that moving contraptions break blocks when returning to block form. If you are curious TangoTek built one of those for his create series a while ago.
I hope this wall of text is useful to you create enthusiasts out there.
Once you have steam power it would be interesting to make a massive underground machine for all the different cobble types, see how far you can go when it comes to making things from scratch using automation
Born to make infinite wisky sources
Forced to make wisky cobblestone generators
its why we drink 😔
ATFC stands for Alcohol to Ferrous Cobble
0:25 “and now we are gonna start making some paper 🤑💵💵💯” - ilmango
I really like that you switch between creative and survival in an episode
12:07 ooooh it would be cool if using different liquids produced different stone types!!
For anyone wanting to build a stone generator themselves: Just let the hoppers point directly intothe basin of a mechanical press, that is placed between to drills (Not directly ofc). Then you just gotta run the press at 1/4 of the drills speed. You can also place water between the mechanical press and its basin, allowing you to create gabbro. Super compact, simple and efficient
Those extended funnels are ingress vs. egress mode of the funnels. But other than the funnels, there are also filtered tunnels which might be interesting to investigate.
9:59 Yeah stone generator in the nether. Scicraft vibes
That title warranted instantly clicking on the notification. A man is curious.
Wow, so much work but so much fun! I agree about the Elytra tbh, I like my worlds better before I have them. After you get them, it’s almost a lazy mindset of “might as well use it” that kicks in.
This series is so good, I never notice that 30 minutes pass when watching these videos, and I always get a little sad when the episode ends.
Loving the series mango. It is always good to wake up to an episode of ATFC
The extended funnels on belts is purely cosmetic, the items still output at the base of the funnel.
The only practical use I can think of is the hitbox changes a little, so you could drop items ontop/its easier to walk around and work on it
Ilmango, if you put the Crushing Wheels with their axles pointed up and down, they can take items off of belts without needing to hopper or funnel items in and out.
Ilmango has already surpassed my Create knowledge, I had no idea that works, 15:42.
Awesome Series! I'm really excited for the episodes where you put down some insane machines :)
If ilmango would be a rapper he'd be lilmango
Every time there’s a new video I get so excited
you can use the wireless redstone to synchronize your giant windmill
Don't remember which series I was watching, but one group did a clever trick of having each part of a process feed a vault, then content detectors read how many of that is available and if it's below a certain amount it uses the wireless Redstone to signal the prior step to produce more, so.. if you wanted to say have x number of something that requires copper, it requests the crushing wheels to pull cobble from the storage rom the cobble generator, which as it falls below some percentage starts making more cobble, to refill its storage. This can be extended out to any step in a process that requires a pre-step product, thus automating everything.
Tengo on season 2 create mod. His factory is spectacular
It depends on what you want to automate. Generally speaking however, you want to have a constant rate of production throughout all the the steps of the process, otherwise it becomes inefficient
by utilizing the fact that blocks that are placed inside blocks by a contraption drop, you are able to build more efficient farms. I also guess they would drop the stone itself instead of the chunks
You can use multiple compacting presses funnel can pull off of beltsat an angle
I think, ilmango looks angry in this goggles and the ironman suit
there are stockpile switches that give a redstone signal when the inventory it is conected to gets full (you can set the treshold), you don`t have to use a manual switch to direct where the cobblestone goes
you can run the crushing wheels horizontally with a belt between em. (works for waterwheels too)
So good that he figured out how to use Gearboxes...
Now if only he would realize that he didn't need all those funnels...
Instead of the item filter for washing, you could just wash it while running on a slow belt. It will always be washed when it reaches the other side
18:08
I believe you can have horizontal crushing wheels and use belts to move the items into it.
I hate that these dont get the views, this is my favorite series to date. SciCraft is tied with it though😅
loving the videos!! there's only one thing that bugs me, and its that your windmill is still desynced-- your base would really come together if there was a way to sync the windmill!
Now that he's finally overstressing the system, he could just turn everything on, causing the windmill to stop, reset the windmills and then reduce the stress again, so all blades start at the same time.
It will always look bad, because all wings rotate around a different center. When you "sync" them it will look better, but then the windmill will "grow" and "shrink" by two blocks on each rotation.
He actually synced it by accident, when he overstressed the system with the cobblegenerator
You can see it being synced up at 26:40
oh nice, i didnt even notice!
Thanks for the awesome content and great videos!!!
He finally realized he didn't need the gearshift!
Bro wants vodka to be integrated into his iron.
About the elytra and discouraging having transportation infrastructure, for one of my towns in my single player world I designed it around having water everywhere so that I could use a trident to get around quickly. I also like to build things assuming that the inhabitants did not have elytra.
I read the title and thought "Did I drink too much?"
I wonder if we will soon see an automatic smelter to smelt all of the ores into different ingots
Have seen on youtube a way to super speed up funnel transfer that has to do with what you discovered. Cannot find it now unfortunately
You should build a jacuzzi structure 😂
Could you not split the single cobble belt with the splitter tunnels into multiple presses?
Crushing wheels can go on top of a single passthrough belt sideways.
The way Mango says gd lol 4:00
Instead of using blacklisting for the funnels, it may be possible to simply put a timer that will deactivate the funnel for X amount of time, then activate it afterwards, when everythin is washed, if that is possible.
Crushing wheels works horizontally too
6:12 I think if Minecraft had create mechanisms, no one would dig big amount of blocks by hand. Also - to dig a perimeter for farms, everyone builds tnt dupers, so it's a kind of mechanisms.
@Ilmango
1: Elytras can only be used in the End
2: The nether can only have undead mobs, zombie horses skeleton horses
3: Horses have greater speed but less carrying capacity than mules, lamas and donkeys.
I feel like with this system we actually have uses for all mobs in the game, I always think it's really disappointing that so much of the content is made useless because of elytras, also how pointlessly similar donkeys, horses and mules are to each other
Minecraft 1.21: the vodkalogging update
great video
I've heard of hard whiskey but that seems a little to far
Always love the videos 😊
do you know about brass tunnels? they are belt splitters basically
Is it possible to make a machine that makes the windmill generators spin around as well to stop them overlapping?
papyrus: puh·pai·ruhs
I get off my edge every time he mentions it.
belts can be used to move stuff back up...
good video
title sounds like the military alphabet
Woot. More atfc!
SICK DUDE!
If nothing changed you can put crushing wheels sideways with belt under
But who is gonna tell him? 👀
Every second person in the comments apparently.
@@headlessnotahorseman it will be too late when he finally reads it here
That is if at all.
There will be hundreds of comments in a just week, no? 😅 That's why i said it he might not see it
Actually more like just a day not whole week, you get the idea
If you want to expand your filter you can just use filters inside filters.
> there is no vodka logging
> literally unplayable
Let's go
I was watching his peaceful series then this popped up
Ilmango wants to remove magic from Minecraft! How unpoetic!
Maybe instead of mining the blooms you could pull out the block underneath with a piston and let them drop on a slab or someting like this. I don't know if it actually works but Etho used this for charcoal in Terrafirmapunk.
It doesn't really matter, as there is hardly any need for wought iron, once you are producing steel
a lot of things didnt work in ethos testing rig as well and the mining in this is so fast, you dont need that. just build a giant room, like a 7x7x7 and you are good for a long time and the digging up only takes like 15-20 seconds
i would want wireless redstone in vanilla or just create in general, much better way in making space ships or activating stuff without massive redstone towers and clunky designs
ATFC forever !!!
you pronounce the Y in papyrus like a Finn haha
Still waiting for the day ilmango learns how to use cogwheels and stops overcomplicating create wiring
>more realistic
>windmill spins underground through the blocks
Super realistic, yes
If you are so against elytra in game, make a petition to make a gamerule where elytras either generate or not, therefore being replaced with a guaranteed diamond enchanted item in the item frame.
first (love your vids so much, mango!!)
Ok, no that Papürus thing is really going to bug me the entire time. The y in papyrus is pronounced like an i. I'm not even sure that the sound ü so much as exists in english.
Every "c" in "Pacific ocean" spells different. Don't try to find logic in a language developed centuries ago.
He really needs to learn about the atribute filter
Hey, Mango! How many episodes did you have planned for this series? Now that you're in the endgame, I'm not sure how much more you want to do.
Tfc
To counter your point on elytra being op.
1 it's an end game item end game should be the op items.
2 travel is the DULLEST part of the game we shouldn't restrict players from traveling far with building infrastructure
A huge part of the problem is that the Elytra makes a ton of stuff redundant (Rideable animals, boats, minecarts for player transport, elevators, stairs, etc.) and removes a lot of the difficult stuff in the game (No need to deal with difficult terrain. And if you are ever in a struggle with mobs, you can just fly away).
Making travelling more accessible is nice, but the downsides for this are massive
@@racernatorde5318 IMO, the problem is that building infrastructure is kind of hard and time consuming (thus, not worth it for the average player). I like how Create allows you to “print” out schematics using machines and place a lot of train tracks at once. Something akin to that could help in vanilla too
"more immersive" build intersecting windmills, windmills at ground level behind things, windmills underground, windmills in shapes that make absolutly no sense... yeah "immersion"
Hi
Use an attribute filter and put can be washed false
For the fans
Elytra is over powered and not immersive but powering a massive drill with a couple sails is? how does that make sense...
A bit paradoxal to talk about realism when you look at the windmill, 8 sails running into the floor and powering a machine able to dig up the earth. We only see what we want to see friend
but why would someone want more realism from a VIDEO GAME? isn't it also unrealistic that minecraft is made out of blocks?
I love the channel just don't understand the mentality, why would you give up enchanting and everything magical just to make it tedious boring grindy and earth-bound
Game balance? There is a reason survival exist and people aren't just playing in creative mode.
Not to mention that realism can be pretty damn important and interesting in games
@@racernatorde5318then isn't it also unrealistic that the game is made out of 1 meter by 1 meter blocks?
also that you can carry tons of this 1 meter by 1 meter blocks
also minecraft IS balanced as it is with enchanting
don't you think TNT duping and creating a perimeter is way more OP than some enchant?
Es un elissir
In create you can put filter in filters and it works recursively, so if you ever run out of room in a filter, get another and put the first in the second.
Nesting not recursion btw
"How do you find such good marble"
"BOOZE"
Fun fact; You can get an Items/Hour display using the create mod display hooked up to a funnel, very fun to use ^^
You can't get this early even with notifications! It's all about popping up on your feed and luck baby
I've actually managed to open a video literally seconds after it was released a few times. Pretty weird sensation to see a video from a (reasonably) large creator have like two views and no comments.
@@dr.cheeze5382I mean, ya. I posted this comment 25 seconds after release
