Kawasaki Versys x300 will be a great lite weight, economical touring bike. On my trips the bike has been reliable & enjoyable to tour on. I do carry a few spares on my trip, Clutch lever, gear lever plus a spare tube for the front. Been lucky on my travels, only the gear lever on the Mrs bike been damaged on a mishap, lucky it was only bent not broken. As for camping gear that would be personal preference, I like to travel lite with minimal equipment. Anyway Enjoy your trip. Thanks
Which model GoPro are you using mate. If it's an 8 or above get yourself a Telesin handlebar remote. They work great. I retired from deilvery 3 years ago after 35 years with post and from what my mates tell me it's like now I'm glad I did.
I’ve been using the GoPro 10 but due to the constant shutdowns I will be resorting to my trusty GoPro 5 which can film at 4K 30 frames & doesn’t let me down. Need to pick up a remote will look up the Telesin one. Cheers
Awesome ride guys. Good to see that the lowering link has helped Tana's confidence. One little change can make all the difference! I can't believe that you said "here comes the worse part now - setting up", and proceed to have Tana set up the camp! How hard could it have been watching her do it? LOL!!! Seriously though, awesome day 1! Looking forward to Day 2. 🙂
Thanks 🙏 Good to be out there travelling again, even if it’s only a weekend. Tana likes to set up the camping gear especially the interior components. We did both put up the tent together, not that the videos shows it. Maybe next time I should time lapse it. Anyway was a good trip, great camping area but minimal facilities. Thanks 🙏
It's a good day when I discover a new X300 (actually two X300's) video by the famous Dodger! Nice beach. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers mate 🙏 Great camping area, nice scenery & best of all time with friends. Thanks
Great video mate! Looking forward to day 2
Thanks 🙏
Looks like the beginning of a great trip ! Y'all have fun 👍🏻
Thanks 🙏 Just weekend getaway. Hit the road in April for 2 weeks around Victoria.
Great video dodger weather looks great ride safe
Weather was warm, great camping area, basic facilities, highlight was Wills Beach. Cheers
Great to see you back mate !
Thanks mate 🙏 Been a bit quiet. Busy Life no time for travel, that’s all going to change. Cheers
I'm heading off on a lap of OZ mid April, got the same bike for trip, appreciate any tips you've got mate

@@DodgerMohr No worries but I don't think it works on GoPro 7 and under. Worth checking into it though as things might have changed since I got mine.

@@DodgerMohr I was pulling your leg Dodger 🙂 Looking forward to part 2 mate!
Does anyone know what tent Dehan is rocking?
I think it’s the ‘Howqua’ tent, possibly the 3 person
@@DodgerMohr Nice, thank you!
@@DodgerMohr I bought the same bags as you after watching your video and they're great so thanks again!
