The one thing Monika Cologne's reviews do better than any other reviewer is the cologne bottle presentation. I don't know who the dude is, but he can spin a bottle. His presentation is EXTRAORDINARY!!!!

You’ve got me looking into Zadig & Voltare 🤔something a little different, I like, I like a lot.
The bloopers were hilarious 🤣
My recommendations:
Dior Homme 2020 (versatile non-blue fragrance)
YSL La Nuit De l’Homme (for nights out)
Givenchy Gentlemen pour Homme Reserve Privee (more formal occasions)
Aqua Di Gio Profumo/Parfum (versatile casual that can be dressed up)
Viktor&Rolf Spicebomb Extreme (cold weather banger)
Hard to pick just 5. In addition to the above I’d also say pick a favorite from the Terre d’Hermes line and your favorite D&G Light Blue flanker and you’ll be in good shape.
*Bleu de Chanel is a great one for any collection, also and probable the best designer “blue), but I wanted to include different options from Monika’s recommendations
Versace Blue has gotten me compliments in the past.

No cologne has given me more compliments than Safari by Ralph Lauren, and yet, I have never seen 1 review of this cologne which will get you compliments galore from women and men!!
Safari is a great fragrance that is rarely mentioned these days. It is one of the few fragrances that I have received compliments on.
I suppose it depends what your looking for if you looking for the “fragrance shop” kind of stock this list is fab, these are good scents but if your wanting a little more then you have spend a little more and start looking at niche perfume.

For anyone whos worn both mony blanc explorer and CDNI does it feel less overpowering when wearing mont blanc? I love the smell of CDNI but it makes me nauseous when i wear it 😢

I've never had such positive reactions and I wear from Nautica Voyage to Carlisle.
Being a bartender I typically wear stuff that is mass appealing, and I've had amazing results with DH2020, definitely my new signature.

I love the way JPG Le Male Le Parfum smells but it’s the one fragrance I wear that I never get compliments on! Even when people get close to me and can clearly smell it. 😫
Same with me but remember not everyone is confident enough to tell someone they smell nice. Especially a stranger.

Stronger With You - Emporio Armani
Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrèe - Hermès is a mention as well for a summer swap out. Explorer is my signature but it's also a great summer fragrance. I might swap in LR Black - Prada come autumn.
From then for now only one is vdb

not gonna lie, Mont Blanc Explorer is crazy good. (i personally don’t care for it much)
but every time i wear it, my gf who doesn’t know much about colognes, just goes crazy.

How about the projection and longevity?
Unpopular opinion- I hate blue de chanel and all of its flankers, bought many decants and tried them in malls too but still can't like it, idk if it doesn't smell good on my body but blue de channel has been one of the most disappointing for me...
I would understand if you talked about one specifically, but talking about the whole line means you probably haven't tried it enough, on different occassions, with a fresh skin and a bit of hydration with lotion.....in my opinion the EDT is a timeless classic and the EDP is the modern cooler version of BDC. Try them all again in a duty free shop after you sipped some strong coffee.
