  • This week marks exactly four years since the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic, travelling has finally resumed and having a robust and refreshed transport infrastructure is essential in welcoming visitors and supporting operations at Changi Airport.
With a focus on hospitality, these once utilitarian passageways at Terminal 1 to 3 have been redesigned to be the first and last warm greeting by the airport to its guests. The design takes inspiration from modern tropical architecture and long hotel passages that are often interspersed by artwork and ornaments that break the monotony of travel and introduce a touch of warmth to an otherwise dull and nondescript corridor.
