My unit wasn't using any salt. Having downloaded the app, gone through the instructions and watched numerous videos, I've reached the conclusion that its easier to move to a soft water area.
I used the settings as described here. It does not seem to regenerate. Nobody knows , even the manufacturer, how often it should regen. I do it manually every now and then. It seems to work but I will see how long it will last.

Since 2 years I had no problem but since about 1 month does not regenerate, checked everything, loaded default but it doesnt help, the Motor is not defect, Time and timer are OK, I can do manualy but this is not a solution, what is defect or what can I do (there is no reset button ) ??
Have you tried to clean the resin chamber? If the resin is saturated it won’t produce softwater. Also make sure there are no blockages, the salt granules can easily stick together forming large rocks that will need to be broken up by a wooden spoon. Hope this helps
And it all gets wiped out if there's a power failure....pathetic. Worst customer service I've ever come across. Instruction manuals and app are hopeless.
Get rid of that damn music. Slow down the instructions and put the text on screen... I measured hardness but no.mention.is made of how to set this into the system.. HELP please

I agree. Their instructions are really, really bad for a so called 'DIY' device. They really need to improve on that ASAP.
So, what do we do with the hardness test? No mention of it at all once it's done.
