Great level design, extremely fun to play (remember that?) and best use of the best controller of this generation. Oh and no lecturing about anything, just a delightful game to have fun with. I found the game to be a bit short , like Mario galaxy games were lengthier , it’s good , but it really needed to have more content and extra stuff to do once you beat it,

I hope the industry takes note that we need more games like Astro Bot. Throughout all the premieres I couldn't help but notice how many games went for a gritty and violent tone. It was such a breath of fresh air to see Astro Bot take it home this year. It was my personal GOTY for this year too.
I don't care which game gets game of the year, As long as no dark souls game (and DLC) won, I'm fine with it! It would be nice for final fantasy rebirth to get GOTY, but I don't mind as long as elden ring dlc and Wukong didn't win!

The last 4 GOTYs were It takes two, Elden Ring, BG3, and Astrobot. All games with average fidelity but gameplay first games that don't want to pretend they're movies.
That award was so deserved, Astro bot I didn’t think was gonna win in all honesty but in my heart that’s my favourite game of this year. The game does nothing offensive to make people mad, has genuinely insane mechanics that always make you shocked and surprised when you play, utilises the ps5 in the best way nobody has used it better than team asobi. They poured their hearts into that game and I’m so happy it’s getting the recognition it rightfully deserves. I also say that no game is better than the other whatever would’ve won I would always support that game, we play gaming for fun people so let’s have some fun!!

No FPS has ever won GOTY on here btw. There was Overwatch, but it wasn't purely FPS, it was so different that it spurred a whole genre of its own over the years.
No surprise to anyone that has actually played any of the Astro Bot games to this point. Everything from the tech demos on the PlayStation Camera, PSVR, tech demo that was Astros Playroom, and now Astro Bot. :D😊
As a more Nintendo enthusiastic who enjoys the likes of Mario & Kirby, Astro Bot is amazing. It did the one thing that alot of Sony or modern games lacks of. Having fun. It knows what & how to make a game fun. The only reason I brought Sony consoles aince Day 1 is because I enjoyed the likes of Crash Bandicoot or Ratchet & Clank and they haven't done anything to give that fun treatment since those days. Until they made Astro Bot and it's the main reason I got a PS5. I'm so happy Astro Bot won GotY and other categories. The game deserves it.

I voted for Wukong to win GotY, but I can respect Astro Bot. Can’t deny that it’s a fun game to watch, but I enjoy game for the stories and such, hence Wukong. But congrats to Astro, but to the creators of Wukong, I can’t wait to see more from them.
I am so happy this game won!! It proves that a game doesn’t need to be an open-world or realistic to win goty. As a Nintendo fan, the speech was especially delighted!
Great level design, extremely fun to play (remember that?) and best use of the best controller of this generation. Oh and no lecturing about anything, just a delightful game to have fun with. I found the game to be a bit short , like Mario galaxy games were lengthier , it’s good , but it really needed to have more content and extra stuff to do once you beat it,

I hope the industry takes note that we need more games like Astro Bot. Throughout all the premieres I couldn't help but notice how many games went for a gritty and violent tone. It was such a breath of fresh air to see Astro Bot take it home this year. It was my personal GOTY for this year too.
I don't care which game gets game of the year, As long as no dark souls game (and DLC) won, I'm fine with it! It would be nice for final fantasy rebirth to get GOTY, but I don't mind as long as elden ring dlc and Wukong didn't win!

That award was so deserved, Astro bot I didn’t think was gonna win in all honesty but in my heart that’s my favourite game of this year. The game does nothing offensive to make people mad, has genuinely insane mechanics that always make you shocked and surprised when you play, utilises the ps5 in the best way nobody has used it better than team asobi. They poured their hearts into that game and I’m so happy it’s getting the recognition it rightfully deserves. I also say that no game is better than the other whatever would’ve won I would always support that game, we play gaming for fun people so let’s have some fun!!
I honestly wish you can enjoy the same level of game for the rest of your life, we deserve better, not everyone can live by eating dog shit.

No FPS has ever won GOTY on here btw. There was Overwatch, but it wasn't purely FPS, it was so different that it spurred a whole genre of its own over the years.
No surprise to anyone that has actually played any of the Astro Bot games to this point. Everything from the tech demos on the PlayStation Camera, PSVR, tech demo that was Astros Playroom, and now Astro Bot. :D😊
As a more Nintendo enthusiastic who enjoys the likes of Mario & Kirby, Astro Bot is amazing. It did the one thing that alot of Sony or modern games lacks of. Having fun. It knows what & how to make a game fun. The only reason I brought Sony consoles aince Day 1 is because I enjoyed the likes of Crash Bandicoot or Ratchet & Clank and they haven't done anything to give that fun treatment since those days. Until they made Astro Bot and it's the main reason I got a PS5. I'm so happy Astro Bot won GotY and other categories. The game deserves it.
