Empire City gets a new update (in beta), and a lot has changed.
Everyone has been asking what I think, so after the first 24 hours here is what I consider the Positives and the Negatives, and some of the things I have discovered so far!

You know the game would be cooler if the creator put a train and where we can drive it.
I'd love a train or tram/trolley that had an automated circuit that it traveled. Sometimes it's a long walk back to your car and it'd be nice to catch a lift.

@@uwantballoons Why I sha'll be disappointed? Oh, yeah, I get what you mean. There is only one thing I hate is you have to buy cars now, which is gonna be annoying and nobody can't do glitches inside buildings anymore to become bulletproof. I tried to do it once, but it won't let me become bulletproof...😔😭👍👍👍👍

But I can't wait for Starry to fix the sitting bug, because you can literally sit almost everywhere and that's just weird.
sitting anywhere is great.
The sit-bug happens when you first enter a room, then you can't get in or out of your car, until you rejoin the room..

Yes, we all do. But there is a chance we could get these features back in the future, so stay tuned..

I agree with you, but still the old version was better.
For instance the car rapair is payed, as if the free repair was taking any capacity on servers ( wich i don't now if it does take or not...) and the ranks are not a good idea because it will create diferences among players and that might cause other kind of arrassement to newbies or players that just want to play for a wile and return every once in a wile, most likely not motivating them to come back. For example, not with cars because was the cool thing on the game to have a cool car or not..., but guns could be a plus to have different kind of guns available to buy them with the money earned on loots or by selling clips, the salary earnings could be managed ( meaning payed or not) for instance with an optiom on the menu to create alliances with other players, like teams against teams.
As for the rest I hope that game programmer really reads the comments in here, to learn from people that dont have access to the forums, that are occasional players, like to know some tricks ;) and enjoy playing the game.
Yes, I believe there will be a significant loss of players. So many enjoyed the freedom and the glitches that came with the previous version.
If you take the fun out of a 'fun game' you are just left with a game.
To misquote a certain developer: "A large player-base is a privilege"..
New update leads to new exploits.
Latest is players are teaming up and killing each other to collect the $ after every kill. If that adds to their rank points, two friends or twins can get ranked up very quickly by killing each other in turns.

If you can somehow drive all night you could probably pick up around 1000 RP too.
Hey brother I couldn't do the one to blow up the streetlights because I left the game for 1 week and they had updated it and the way to put food in this version is different
You can still do it, objects just take longer to spawn. I'll do the balloons one in a video very soon..
The ranking system is a bit too difficult imo, 1000 rp to get to rank 2, and not every kill gives 5 rp, some dont give at all, and you have to drive for eternity to get 20 rp from driving
They should making it so you can get rp from collecting, selling and buying clips, and making the driving rp cooldown lower
20RP for about 10 minutes clean driving, up to 15 minutes if you keep banging into things. Yes not all kills have registered for me either, but every death does.
Seems like about a week of solid gameplay will get you your suit and a much better car. Gotta make those $$ and keep earning RP. I am rank 3. I've put a fair amount of time in so far.
I should have my blue car back by the end of the day. Maybe my beige suit back in the next few days, fingers crossed.
Remember the game update is in beta, so there will be more changes to iron out any issues as we move forward from here..

How to up your rank?
Yeah, I am not sure. Kills I guess. But the kill counter didn't always register kills for me. My gun would not fire sometimes too.

this update was definitly a lot to process in a short period of time and i"m sure we we still be finding things that were updated and hidden weeks from now but my another big issue with the game is veteran players what about the player who have been playing the game for years and are just now having to start over with no reimbersment for all there time but that also does make the newbies feel bad and the community does need to grow so 🤷♂i am looking forward to when they put more weapons into the game however
There has been a lot to consider. Both good and bad. I say trust the process and remember the game is in beta, and modifications will still be made along the way..
