Maybe only me but the eye look you did makes your blue eye really bright !! You always look so good in this sort of classic makeup look with red lips. I wonder if the Zero Effort Liner is resemblance to the Mario Eyeliner ?

Try the eyeliner on the upper lash line. It’s soft like a kohl liner. It may have smudged from the waterline.

Because the eyeliner is so creamy, you may want to try putting a coordinating eyeshadow over the eyeliner to help with smudging under the eyes. Sometimes it helps to set the eyeliner. Its worth a shot. I love your tutorials. You were the first youtuber I watched for makeup application, and I still rush to see whenever you upload a video years later.
Yeah it's a classic soft kohl. Ideal for a classic smokey eye.
If anyone watches Lisa Eldridge, she often uses soft kohls and shows the techniques for blending them with coordinating powders.
After the Chipotle palette, this one was a bit underwhelming... but it would be a great palette to travel with. I do like the fact that the shadows are all matte because I wear all matte shades. Thank you for doing such a thorough review of these. The coconut sprays looks downright indulgent!!❤️
I LOVE the under eye eye liner technique, with the dots you smudged with the brush. Such a good idea for a daytime look, so it doesn't get TOO smokey. :) Thank you!
Lorac is my fav high end shadow brand and their shadows are soft as well. Ill take soft everyday over hard pressed pans!!

So, the question is, would it work well as the liner above the upper lashes? Thank you for showing both palettes. Of all the products I wanted to work it was the eyeliner. Gutted it it went walkabout.

I never trust any pencil I put under my eye, until I've taken coordinating eyeshadow and lightly set it.
I do appreciate a smudgeable liner that's a good base for something pretty.

Wow! I am an elf makeup lover. I own 98% elf makeup & skin care. The name of the ultra precise brow liner you used has the name on the bottom of the stick in SMALL print or maybe yours fell off. I love the makeup look! I personally like color but this is beautiful. I always have a problem with my liner on the waterline. Doesn’t matter what brand I use. After 8 hours your waterline looks good. Going to check into this line. I also love your lashes they are beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us. 💜💚😘😎
Elf's Plus Glow and Plus Matte line (setting sprays/primers etc) are so underrated. I'm oily and they give a beautiful glow. This collection looks fun!

Zabrena, what do you use on your nails to keep them from breaking? I recently took my acrylics and gel off my nails and am battling with them feeling soft and they seem to break very easily. Would love to know what you use! I enjoy watching your videos very much and have often taken your advice when purchasing skin care/makeup items!

The mist from the spray is similar experience to walking out the door down in the South. Except not refreshing, but takes away the powder look. lol Great video, Zabrena.
I wish you had shown the whole process of you applying the darkest eye shadow as eyeliner and how you got the wing so high on a hooded eye looks fantastic

I bought the Silver Sky and love it.
I just got mine today and can't wait to try them. I only ordered the Palette in Light to Medium and Lipstick in Pink so we'll see how I like them. I'm now glad that I didn't get the Eyeliner though. I have so many of them in my Makeup Collection.
I have some of the Brulee Eyeshadow. I had to buy a 3 pack. I had seen your trick on Blending it into other Eyeshadow to lighten them up so I bought them. I wish I could send you one of mine since you ran out though.

I have to get the eyeliner. Would be great for a soft daytime look. I've only ever seen a similar formula from Charlotte Tilbury so wow.

That is a good idea. I know people put shadow over eyeliner but I didn't know that it might prevent smudges.
I love the entire look! God love ya for rocking the red lip, I just can't do that. I'm definitely considering the lighter palette, it would be an absolute if the highlighter were a tad more champagne and not quite so yellow gold in tone. Just a beautiful look on you! (And those Cantu products are fabulous!! I love when I can get great products from Walmart for such great prices!!)

Seeing other reviews the eyeliners are perfect for smudged out wing eyeliner look and they are a cream to powder finish which is probably why they don't hold up in the waterline unfortunately.

The look was beautiful. How does the spray fare for removing that “powdery” look. Longevity isn’t my concern since I wfh. But I definitely need something that will melt the powders together that won’t break the bank
Yeah.... this looks like a swing and a miss for Elf. I love my Elf products, but I already own all these palette shades in other palettes. I would love to see you try the new Wet-n-wild palettes though. There's one called "Heart & Sol" that is just *gorgeous!* I've been using that one constantly since I bought it. Some of their new palettes are re-releases of their original Color Icon palettes, but there are some new colors too. They also released a few 5 pan palettes that look nice. And too bad I'm all the way up in Kentucky - I could have thrown a couple of Brulee's your way lol. I buy those by the handful hahaha

Hi Zabrena! So I’m wondering if there’s an easy way for me to figure out what would be considered a “cool” vs a “warm” color...? I’ve assumed that all browns are warm but then I watched this lol. Also, how exactly do you figure out if a purple is a “blue” purple vs a “red” purple? That ones confused me too. Maybe you’ve done a video on this and I just haven’t found it yet? Thank you so much for your videos! I LOVE them!!!
I’m sure it’s already been said, but smudge just a little of the brown eye shadow over the liner. It will set it :) I do that with that super creamy Maybelline tattoo studio eyeliner.
