Make sure to research which programs you study with. I have heard of some programs have relocated kids and put many Asian students in areas that had high hate crime rates. We shouldn’t support a program that supports anti-Asian hate. Please stop Asian hate! So please make sure to research before you go.
Thank you so much for the great content, Natalie! You are the best, you know? Great girl, great human being, and still so young. I'm thinking of a High School or a Boarding School abroad for my son. It's going to be a 10 year project, as he is just 5 years old, but he already studies on a Canadian International School in Brazil called Maple Bear. Maybe I'll contact you in the future for a professional advice. Thank you again!
Ohh I tried to apply for Maple Bear in Brazil too, unfortunately, they don't work with scholarship and the only around me with High Schol is 50km from my house :( Good luck for you and your son

Well let's say a person has the amount to pay for Le Regent still the school has admission tests. What should a child know for that? Will they accept people who aren't the best in academics ?
Hello Natalie, the Leysin internation school decided to consider giving me a scholarship but when I'm going to apply I don't know if upon all the other achievments I have I should add an additional IGCSE or IG exam, which is extra time and money. I would gladly love an reply!
hiii i want to apply to a boarding school in Switzerland but i couldn't can't afford it at the moment i want to apply to a scholarship but i have no special talents and i didn't win any competitions whats your biggest tip of advice for me right now
Just try! And that applies to other things in your life too. Try pursuing your interests as best as you can, try organising some projects to show them (like social media campaigns on e.g. climate change) and read a lot. That’s what I would’ve done.
Hey I have a question. I will have a chance to go to abroad for my studies but at that time I will be grade 11&12 but I'm not sure if it is late to go to a boarding school at 11 and 12th grade because it may sound too late. What do you think? And also I'm planning to go to Canada.

If I did my research, found no one interested in doing competitions and giving scholarships in my country to absolutely no one, what can I do? Of course I'd be happy to know that I didn't do my research well but I doubt it.
So I’m 12 years old and I want to apply for a scholarship In equestrian since this school has amazing facilities but I don’t really know how I could get in since I’m from a public school background, any extra tips or tricks to help me get in?
hey, first, I also went to the public schools before. Secondly, I'd search for schools with good equestrian programs, and find out what their requirements are. However, for now you're too young to get a scholarship (most of them are for 2 last years of high school). If you can afford the school or if you find a program for younger students, of course, you'll be able to go
i'm in the 10th grade and i'm 14. i should probably start applying so that i could get into scholarships by next year right? This was super helpful, i just don't know if I have the qualifications since i come from a really small school. 😔
Hi! Tbh, what defines when you should be applying is the year you want to start the scholarship, which is usually the second to last year of high school (I’ve mostly seen scholarships for 2 years of IB or A levels). So now you’re probably a bit too young but it’s great since you can develop your interests and find out what subjects you want to take
I'm 14 and I wanna study aboard but don't know what to do like I can't find any program or scholarship because most of them are for university can anyone help me

Doubt? After studying in boarding school, and graduating, u have to apply yourself for universities? Or will the school apply for you? If the school applies for you, will there be any scholarship opportunities for you? And would u require a custodian/gaurdian to study in abroad?
Hey. 1) You always need to apply yourself to the universities, no one can do it for you. So your application is no different BUT 2) when you are in the private school they help you choose the university, check your application essays, they are happy to write the teacher recommendation letters and generally make the process easier. They took me to education fairs and we had some events related to that 3) When it comes to the scholarships you apply 'normally'. Being in a private school doesn't change anything. Maybe they will help you find them 4) You don't require the guardian. Only their consent if you're under 18
Depends on the school. For Polish applicants to LAS in Switzerland and for all UWC schools, there is a competition. Other schools usually do the recruitment themselves

Hey. First, a boarding school is always a high school, so it doesn't make much sense to go there after finishing high school. However, I had a friend who did it cause she needed an IB diploma. I think it might be better for you not to go to the boarding school now unless you don't mind spending just a year there. Remember you can have a similar experience at the university if you live on campus.
It’s all about finding a school in Korea that offers scholarships. If you find a school that is for international students, and which gives scholarships, you can apply and maybe you’ll get in :)
