I read a different book of personal stories from Chernobyl. It was by Svetlana Alexievich and really good, but long and gruelling. I loved All Creatures Great and Small and its sequels as a young teenager. It is more about people than animals. But the one of these I have read recently is The Hill of Devi. The subject matter is fascinating and Forster writes so well.
I think the fact that Chernobyl book was focused on children, made it impossible for me read it. I will try the other one I have in my app and look for the one you recommended. Like I said in the video, I think All Creatures Great and Small is a very well written book but not just for me. And I forgot to say it in the video but I added that book to my TBR because of your recommendation in a video ;) I loved the writing style again and the content was interesting.
The mother of the brontes looks so good 😊
The first chapter was impressive.

The Mother of the Brontes sounds interesting, I don't know anything about Maria.
It was a really good first chapter. I hope the book is as good too.
