So, other than the fading envelope capability, what's the difference between inserting an adjustment track vs. just adding effects to an entire track and putting them after "Composite" in the effect chain? That's how I've always gotten effects to affect lower tracks prior to Vegas Pro 19. It seems like it would be useful to have a way for effects to affect their track, plus any tracks that happen to be its children, but I haven't figured out how to do that.

Question... yes, I am late as always. At the bottom of the Adjustment Track and Track 4 is a little space between 2 lines. What is that?
