Then some bored CCP supporters decided to decode the morse code in his song and got angry saying stuff like "Rayark doesn't support their ideals" or something. So Ice decided to quit so that he could protect Rayark. That's about the gist of it.

Or you just touch them like tapping screen.(sorry I don’t know much about this game, tho i played cytus) Edit: sorry , when i watch this in slomo, he didn’t press all buttons in circle, just simply using hand dragging in circle on screen, like on ipad.

That said, maimai has this style of 'spinning' by just sliding your hands to tap continuous notes, like that. It works both on screen and, surprisingly, with the physical buttons along the ring as well (just be sure to wear gloves to lower the traction, it hurts less to both you and the machine).
the edge of the screen can be used as an alternative to buttons and spinning around the screen is way easier than on the buttons. and the way hit detection of this game works makes make you able to just slide notes that comes in quick succession without releasing your hand and hit all of them
