I didn't expect to cry at the end yet here we are :') his skill with storytelling and how the emotion carries is incredible
I think my formative years had this guy's words in my ear. him along with his sister from another mister.... phil you and sarah are so inspiring. thanks for creating.
Crying before he even started because no matter how many times I hear it, this poem always hits me so hard.
This one is heartbreak for me too =( Love it though!
Phil's writing is always so beautiful, but the addition of the band is absolutely masterful
Just amazing. I loved this piece but hearing such an ensemble behind Phil makes it just haunting and beautiful.
It is pretty great, right?
Oh, how wonderful! I love this poem. I always imagine what the music in her ballroom is like, now I don't have to, and I can just dance along. Very nice, thank you. ❤️
Ps; Now I wish someone would make a short animated movie to this. 😵😍
Glad you like it! And we'll have to get to work on that animated short! Great idea =)

Thank you for listening!
I can’t lie this poem makes me think about the stories I will tell my grandmas that are left the ones where they told me God makes no mistakes and doesn’t hate gays because of me being created. The memories they have of dressing me and dresses and skirts and me never accepting that norm I will not lie I am greatful that towards there end they have no hate only love for me
Anyone know where the sheet music to this is accessible if it is at all????
