Thank you for this clear teaching. Growing up Seventh Day Adventist, it was taught and still is today that the scapegoat typifies Satan. Now that I’m out, and have read to clear word of God, I don’t know how one can believe such a heresy.

When sin is taken away the Holy spirit comes to reside within the believer, providing guidance so that sin looses its power over the believer, may God bless your ministry and the work of translation.
Rabbi Zev Porat would disagree with the meaning of affliction of one's soul. It doesn't tell us to have a fast. We cannot have sexual relationships with our spouses on The Day of Atonement, and we should not eat dainty or lavish meals, and deny our flesh certain pleasures, but you can, and for some people, should eat enough to make sure that you don't get sick from abstaining from certain foods, but definitely eat enough to maintain your blood sugar.
Matthew 5:17-19, the law has not passed away, while Yeshua is the full expression of the law and indeed many things have been fulfilled, not everything. There is still rewards actually for keeping the least of the commandments, teaching them too. Friends, you’ve been lied to, leave Babylon, even the institutional ‘church’ , good luck.

What happen with the other sacrifices? That day they sacrifices more Num. 28:3-4, 29:8-11.
