    I have the Alhambra 7FC. Which is all Solid guitar basically. I'm very happy with it and would never part with it. I feel somehow all Alhambra guitars have a very rich base. They sound very dark, warm, and beautiful ❤ but this Alhambra 4F sounds amazing as well not gonna lie😁
    Keep up the great videos👍 peace and love from Egypt 🇪🇬 ✌

      I couldn’t agree more, I have the Alhambra 7fc slimline model , but I’m struggling with the action thou it’s at its maximum lowest but still feels too high compared to my other guitars

    Nice review.
    How is this guitar after 2 years? Would you still recommend getting one?
    I was thinking of getting the Cordoba F7 paco, but I like the sound of this guitar more.
    Thanks.

      The Alhambra has a spruce top and the F7 Paco is cedar two totally different sounds my preference would be the Alhambra the basses are exquisite have you considered the 5f ?
      I loved the orange colour sadly I’ve sold it needed the money to get my cordoba negra pro now that’s a nice guitar

    Thank you for this review. 👍💥 I've been a bit reluctant to buy a laminated back & sides guitar, but actually this one sounds pretty nice. What kind of nut / bridge did you get for replacements? I'm asking, since I think it's quite essential for upgrading the sound. 👍💥

      Never played a camps wouldn’t mind a fL11

      @@PluckinNylon Thank you for getting back to me. :) If I may ask,
      if the Alhambra 4 F does not come with a truss rod....does the guitar come "Out of the box" with VERY LOW action that we would want from a flamenco guitar ? Or, is it better to buy the Cordoba GK or a Yamaha CG 171 or 172 ? Thanks again for your help. :) Antoine

    • @PluckinNylon
      @PluckinNylon  2 года назад

      @@globalonemusic2381 the 4f comes with a low action not very low but a compensated bridge saddle which I changed to bone which made a lot of difference in tone the gk studio or negra the action is high I have the negra and had to shave it down and when I first started I had a Yamaha 171 the action was perfect but lacked in sound. My go to guitar is my Raimundo 145 negra but even that needed a pro set up
      Out of all those guitars you mention the 4f or even the 5f is the one but that’s only my opinion
      Oh and by the way my 4f is up for sale

      @PluckinNylon  3 года назад

      Well Mr White
      Out of all my flamenco guitars this one pleased me the most straight out of the box the action and feel of the neck was perfect
      Sound wise I felt it was lacking sounding a bit boxy hence changing the compensated bridge saddle to bone which did the trick
      By no means is this guitar concert level but for a beginner- intermediate deffo recommend

      I bought it yesterday, the action & playability are good but not perfect unfortunately 🥲
      You know, there's some bar chord alzapua's are kinda difficult to play, and hand pain takes place after a while
      Think I'm going to adjust the bridge a little bit
      I feel I spent money in the wrong place 🥲

      Sorry to hear that buddy, kinda in the same boat as you recently bought a raimundo 145 the action was too low serious fret buzz and few frets uneven again this is the risk you take buying over the internet
      You can always send it back I must of been lucky with mine but still changed the bridge saddle

    Im a rock guitarist that has decided to take up flamenco, i need a guitar though, this guitar looks like an option but i found a guitar on offer in my local music store, its a prudencia saez 336, reduced from over 1000 euros to 750 because he ays nobody wants it its been sitting in the shop over 2 years, but to be honest i was disappointed when i tried it because the action is so high, of course i could take it down by filing down the bridge nut but there doesnt seem to be much to file off it because its already pretty low, i have researched that flamenco guitar necks are pretty straight, this one isnt it seems to have too much neck relief and with no truss rod to adjust its stuck like that, the guy in the shop offered to lower the bridge for me so i said go ahead but my head is telling me to abandon this guitar and look elsewhere, shame because other than the action its really nice, what do you think?

    • @PluckinNylon
      @PluckinNylon  2 года назад

      Hi
      You’ve done the same transition as me except I was a blues guitarist. Saez guitars are good apparently, is it a blanca (cypress)or negra (rosewood) for that price I’m expecting a full solid type
      With regards to the action I purchased a Alhambra 7f ct thin line off Fbk marketplace lovely guitar same issue. Took it to a luthier he took the bridge saddle down to its minimum but for me still wasn’t enough, still debating if wether to do the bridge option
      Luciana Ghosen does a video about lowering the action on his guitar by sanding the bridge worth a watch
      End of the day if you really like the guitar go for it but remember there are better options at that kinda price
      Yamaha cg171f Alhambra 4f/5f cordoba negra to name a few

      @@PluckinNylon the preduncio g7 is an all solid wood guitar and yes its a blanca, the headstock and pegs are really nice too, but i get the feeling there is too much relief on the neck, arent flamenco guitars supposed to have a straighter neck? i suppose i can let the guy take the nut down and see how it plays after that, im not under obligation to buy it, but to be honest i dont think lowering the bridge nut will do it, but what would i know im not an expert

    • @PluckinNylon
      @PluckinNylon  2 года назад

      I don’t think any fretboard is perfectly straight because woods move expand/contract like you I’m no expert but if you feel a connection with the guitar go for it the G7 is a good guitar peg heads are abit temperamental with tuning I believe however if neck relief is a thing I recommend a Córdoba Negra or Córdoba pro negra I shall be doing reviews on both soon even the camps fl2 fantastic guitar ,all with truss rods. It depends on your budget Hope this helps you on your journey
