Each individual instrumental melody sounds so simple or even plain, but the way they layer together is so just rich and entrancing. The strings aren’t anything fancy but complement the other instruments so well, and the guitar solo wasn’t flashy but held the emotional tension throughout the song so well. (Also I’ve been told that this song was in part inspired by a book of the same title by a Japanese author called Haruki Murakami!)

So he imagines there must has all good things, like a clean lake, peaceful air, white moonlights, and the most important, the "hidden memories that you don't want to recall" and "deepest secret" (the end of second verse) That's why he asks himself in the chorus "perhaps I should not ask" BTW "Norwegian Wood" is a japan novel, Wu Bai wrote this song after he read the book; and the title of the novel comes from The Beatles' song of the same name lol
Wu Jun Lin is Wubai's real name. IMHO this is a well written song where the vocal, the guitar, the keyboard, the bass, the drum are very well executed. The drummer of China Blue is Dino. He is an Italian.

Recommend: Last Dance by Wu Bai and China Blue. I have listened many editions covered by other singers, but the original version is the best.
