Dainese, please use Stretch GORE-TEX on your ADV and Touring Jackets 🧥 & Pants 👖. Also, the pants need a Higher Stretchy Neoprene Waistband w/more Robust Redundant Closures along with a Large Stretchy ↔️ Spandex Gusseted Crotch for more range-of-motion and overall crotch and seat comfort!
I could not see rocking that set-up in the summer even with extra vents. Truth be told, if you are able to ride all year, then you will need two sets of riding gear.
It's a pre-production Sample Size 50, which fits like a production 52. You'll see that in a lot of the Dainese jacket videos we have. A production 52 will fit correctly according to the size chart. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla
I have the triumph isdt jacket which is great, but damn it gets toasty in the summer in that thing. I'm looking for another jacket that has all of this but less than $1k, sheesh. The triumph isdt is amazing (waterproof, breathable, winterproof) it's just not hot weather riding proof lol. Sometimes I feel like I need an extra pair of shirt to wear if I get stuck in heavy traffic cause it gets so hot in there 😥😥
How do you feel this fits with riding a multi in the bay area which is cool year round. Ive been currently looking for apex level gear for long days or multi day trips from klim rukka and dainese and my head is spinning. Northern cali has so many different climates Its hard to make a decision. Budget is not a concern as im looking for apex. Currently thinking klim apex or but the collar and lack of pants concern me, maybe a kodiak in D size might be just right. Rukka Realer but fit concerns me im 5'9" 225-230 american belly build..lol. Or this which seems to be a nice intro into this category. I currently ride with a dainese carve master and am looking for a safety and tech upgrade as Ive had this jacket for many years now. A 56 in dainese fits perfect for me if not a little tight when i add a couple layers.
I'm not as enamored with the Klim Apex honestly, as the fit is just a bit...off. The Kodiak also has a weird fit, even though the protection is there for sure. If you've tried it on, though, and it fits you in the D size, then that could be a good choice. However, if you generally like the fit of your older Carve Master, I'm inclined to recommend the Gran Turismo. The collar is well-sculpted and doesn't feel bulky, and it can be held open for additional ventilation when the temperature rises. That in addition to the direct venting on the chest and back. You definitely get a step up in protection from your current Carve Master thanks to CE Level 2 armor and the Armacor fabric in the high impact areas. 56 should still be appropriate. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-gran-turismo-gore-tex-jacket
@revzilla my Dainese Tonale jacket is size 54 which is the perfect for me @ 6"3 and 225lbs. Should I stick with this size 54 for Dainese Gran turismo jacket amor or go up to 56 as I read it a slimmer fit?
Since it is a safety device, you should try the smaller 54 first. Depending on your chest measurement and if you have broader shoulders, you might be able to get away with the 54 for a tight fit before having to bump up to the 56. The tighter the jacket the closer the armor will be to the right position in an accident.
With the liner removed and the vents open, it's actually comfortable well up to 25C or even a bit higher. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-gran-turismo-gore-tex-jacket
The Gran Turismo offers better ventilation for a wider temperature range of riding, and the Gran Turismo has CE Level 2 armor rather than the D-Cyclone's Level 1 shoulder and elbow armor. -DrewZilla
Dainese uses a combination of YKK and OPTI zippers. For example, Dainese always uses OPTI zippers for their jacket-pants connection zippers. Many of the zippers are YKK though. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-gran-turismo-gore-tex-jacket
The pre-production model didn't, but there are some gussets to adjust the fit slightly. Ask again when the jacket is released (likely within a few weeks) and we can have a look for you and take some photos. -Kraus-e
The closest options would be from Rukka, REV'IT!, and Klim, which are similarly priced. For less than a grand, though, I'd recommend the REV'IT! Poseidon. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-poseidon-gtx-jacket

$1,100 ? A seriously overpriced jacket, it only comes with 3 vents KLIM Badlands Pro at $1029 and it has 12 vents ... Rev It Dominator GTX at $1349 for 10 vents

I came for info on the pants and got none.

@revzilla what kind Gore-Tex does this jacket use? Gore-Tex Pro
This jacket used Gore's 2L Performance shell for the main construction.

@@RevZilla thanks guys
Thanks guys
Interesting to see if anybody actually used it in temperatures above +15'C. As far as i know its to warm for summer rides.

So $1800 for pants and jacket? Where's Ashton Kutcher we must be getting punked lol
How does this compare to the D-cyclone, which is partially leather.
The Gran Turismo offers better ventilation for a wider temperature range of riding, and the Gran Turismo has CE Level 2 armor rather than the D-Cyclone's Level 1 shoulder and elbow armor. -DrewZilla

Slick looking jacket.
As long as it looks badass, it's a juggernaut!
