I don't mind people who pay money to upgrade their stuff fast cause that's the whole point but for a casual player it shouldn't be too long and too hard to upgrade especially the equipments, it's just not ok for a casual player. I play the game everyday, in legend's league and participate in wars, I'm not the best attacker (average 60%-70% 2 star) and it's been months and i can't upgrade my equipments while my village gets annihilated evey single time my maxed players.
Please make a video on best attack strategies that don't require any specific hero equipment. As a free to play player maxing out every epic equipment isn't possible.
Love your fireball videos, went 7/7 this season in cwl using fireball, but used 4 different follow-up strategies: hero dive rocket loons, witches, bats, and super witches.
It's a common thing in the pro scene, some people want the reputation for their clan being high on the leaderboards so they pay a bunch of pros to go 21 stars in their clan.

I am currently trying to find the balance between different attack strategies. Since I use fireball attacks only in cwl I do not want to upload even more fireball videos on top, since not everyone has that leveled. This is why I try other equipment strategies aswell.
45 - 45 ? Th16 in a nutshell, on Th15 I would feel so proud of myself after going for perfect week 21 stars, now on Th16 I feel whatever getting 21 and huge disappointment failing even just one attack. Thanks supercell for taking away the joy of 3-stars

I think it depends on your overall equipment situation. If you have a lot of equipments maxed, yes you can go for it. If you dont have the strongest equipment lvled like healer pupper, haste vial, hog puppet, firball rage gem etc. then concentrate on those first.

If you are the type of player that sends the king in with a root rider spam army, then I would say spiky ball does better than the giant gauntlet in that scenario because giant gauntlet won’t take advantage of damage reduction when surrounded by tons of other troops. If you send your king solo, stick to the giant gauntlet
"Shocking". We can talk about being casual friendly all we want, but I have no doubt that ruining the game for the higher level players is going to trickle down and eventually kill clash of clans. I'm waiting a few more months to see if they add a new league with hard mode and then clan wars otherwise I'm quitting after all these years. I think you should be very worried as well itzu. As a content creator I'm pretty sure most of your viewers are from these higher level players that have no motivation at the moment.
I personally play the game really limited outside of video recordings. For me personally it is too easy aswell. Do I think that it is bad for the game? I dont think so. We all know supercell is a company with the goal to make as much money as possible and that for an as long time as possible. So seeing them adding a second round of defense nerfs recently I would assume that the overall game is in a good spot. Will that hurt my channel? I dont think so. Most my viewers are more on the casual side, since I mostly upload guide content, which is not as attracting to high lvl players. I think for my content it does not matter much if the game is easy or not. But it obv sucks for me personally when playing the game feels forced and not fun anymore. So I guess that is the biggest impact for me. I hope aswell that hard mode would be added in more places of the game personally. But I dont count on that any time soon, like this year or even at all. Aswell I am not sure if it would be good from a content creator standpoint. Because what would I upload? Hard mode content would mean I have a really limited reach (my recent hard mode video showed that only the small comp scene cares for the hard mode, but 99,9% of the players dont want it) or the normale mode, which means I have a bigger reach but I have personally less enjoyment. Overall the situation is not great.

When it comes to supercell, I think yes they need to make money as a company, and I might be totally wrong here, but I feel like only catering to the casual players will result in a dead game eventually. Will people keep spending money when they don't see any action at the top levels? We'll see, maybe my vision is completely skewed and their revenue will keep increasing, but I think the equipment recency is influencing their revenue a lot, and eventually, it will stall once the hype is over. I never thought I would miss TH15. Sure I would rarely get 3 stars, but I also didn't get 3 starred often. Just the other day I got -320 on defense. I actually feel more frustrated now because if I make a silly mistake or my connection drops, the league day is kind of ruined, so you're constantly fighting off a bad feeling instead of fighting for a good feeling like a 3 star in th15 used to feel like... seems a bit toxic, that's why I'm thinking of quitting, because what is the point of playing a game if it isn't fun

From our position we can only assume how the game is doing currently, since sc is rarely sharing any numbers, but I guess we will be able to tell more with th 17. If it will stay as easy as currently, then the year was a success for sc. If they change it, then the year was maybe not as successful. Hard to tell tbh.

I did a video with the top 3 strategies. #1 and #2 only had the gauntled as epic equipment and you can just replace that.

I’ve been using hero dive rocket loons in legends with fireball as well. It insanely good and works on any base
