Youth Canvas- The Kibarage Sportiff football club

Haron Kanjuhe, 29, chose to take on the youth leadership of his community after witnessing the loss of so many young people to crime. Over time, Kibarage informal settlement, which is located in the center of Kibarage estate developed a highly negative image. The youth turned to crime as a means of survival due to poverty and a lack of employment prospects. He made the decision to start a football club in order to stop many more people from dying prematurely. Kibagare Sportiff club has been vital in diverting young people's focus away from crime.However, much more effort is required, which is why he is appealing to various stakeholders and leaders to support his efforts for the sake of this talented youth.
