Kevin is the man...He was the 1st person I've seen that has the ability and knowledge to change my mind about snakes...I was terrified of reptiles until watching this channel a few months ago...time has changed and I have gotten 10 snakes 1 monitor and 2 lepord geckos plus more animals to come...from one man to another I thank you for opening my mind and changing my life and exposing me to a world I completely stayed away from for so long u the man dude 4 real
This is wonderful!!!!!!!! I appreciate it.
Right I agree. They showed some dude Brian I think was his name. I watched him twice just to see if he knew anything. Yeah nope not really. Not like the man Kevin.
My favorite videos are your treatment and rehab videos. I do like egg cutting videos if its some exciting morph but I think unless the morph is something exciting its not my fav. I love when you teach in your videos. I feel like when you are teaching us about what you are doing and what can happen with these animals you just slip into your lane in a way that makes you so fun to watch. You have so much wisdom to share. Im always a fan anyway so you got me watching for the long haul either way.
Very kind. Thank you.
Kevin the best part of your videos is how real they are. As someone who looks up to you, you always come across as approachable and sincere. I always enjoy every trip to NERD, they’re even better because even though I can see how busy you are, you never refuse to stop and talk, even for a brief question.
I appreciate that! Thank you.
About 2 years ago I stumbled upon yours and Brian's channel (sorry for your loss) and my whole life has changed never considered owning reptiles. Iv gotten clean by occupying myself with ball pythons slowly but surely I acquired more and more and today I own 90 balls and around 200 rats (I breed to feed) and I currently have my first clutch in the incubator (13 more days to go a perfect 6 egg clutch pied X ultramel pied) and I am loving my life I owe you and Brian a huge thank you for giving me a purpose life has never looked so beautiful !
Was that A Horse With No Name, or not, lol? I didn't know you played guitar, very nice. Sorry I missed the live, but I'm glad it's available now. Kevin you are such a mysterious complicated human being, full of knowledge and all kinds of feelings running along different threads of curiosity's, a good guy that's for sure. Thanks for the class, always appreciated!
Yesssssss. Bam!
Sad I missed the live. I wanted to take a minute to toot my own horn- I got a ball python from a guy who hadn't been able to get him to eat for over a year. He'd been to the vet many times, been xrayed, tested, lived in a bioactive enclosure, the whole 9 yards. His owner really seemed to be trying his best, but was afraid of him getting too skinny. I've had him a little under a month now, and he just ate for me last night. I'm so stoked.
Rewarding!
Awesome live, I like the acoustic guitar. I was the one who requested Metallica, I was finally able to hear you playing this time, it was awesome. I was also the one who made fun of your pants. 😝
As far as what content I prefer, I like the variety. The bubblegum videos are awesome for showing how real you are. I love the wildlife stuff a lot too. When you feel like the videos you took may need some edits to not be too long, that's when I'd recommend having those cuts. In general (not just reptile related videos) I find that videos under 20 minutes are more likely to get me to watch.
It was nice seeing you again, thx again for all the amazing content.
I absolutely love all your videos! I think NERD was the first reptile content creator that I started following. I'm following a few others now and learning a lot. I've had a few small replies, such as green anoles, bearded dragons and water dragons but I've never had a snake. My goal is to have one by the end of the year. My goal is either a hognose or ball python 😊 I can't wait!
Hog nose they are so cute!
Awesome! Thank you! As appreciated.
I could listen to Kevin talk about anything, in any kind of video.. knowledge is king.
Appreciated.
Fantastic live, I enjoyed it so much I've watched it twice already. What a treat to hear you playing the guitar. Rescue beardie is no longer loosing her mind when we approach her enclosure, is happily sitting on my arm, she's not happy about being held out of her enclosure YET, but she's hoping into a keeper so I can move her out so I can bath her, and clean her enclosure. Thankyou for your teachings, she's already a different animal.
Oh my goodness, I missed this ! 😢 My kids had me running them everywhere this evening and I just got back . I wish I would’ve got to see it live ! Thank you for all the videos Kevin! I love learning all the information ❤
I will try to do more.
Just wanted to say one more thing, nice to meet you Andy, you're with the best and that's a good thing. Loved the stories from your childhood.
Thank you kindly
Aww i missed it! Love seeing you play haha. I was a pro guitarist before i lost my ring finger on my fret hand, had to relearn entirely. Wont ever play quite as well, unless i somehow learn a left handed guitar, which isnt easy. Great stuff.
Horse with No Name. I knew the song right away. I keep Python Curtis and Python Brongersmai. Have not had Python Borneo, as a breeder said they are "drama queens", prown to flailing and having tantrums. Interesting to hear another opinion on the Borneos, never heard them called sweet. Perhaps it depends on the keeper and snake. I keep Boas and 2 Albino Burmese Pythons. My first one, Holiday, is wonderful, friendly, gentle, curious. The second one is an outlier. Named him Sunshine with high hopes. Bought him at a low price. The breeder said nobody could handle him. He was just as described by his breeder. I have been working with him, I can hold him, but sometimes something sets him off. I have found resting his body on the floor, or letting him hold onto me while he climbs the wall, calms him. He does love to ride on my shoulders while we walk around the yard. Someday, he will be a nice snake. My Boas are very calm and sweet. My snakes come out to spend with me and roam. I have a cat who is very good with the snakes. No dogs, as they are frightening.
Haaaaa you got it!!!!! Thank you.
absolutely LOVE egg cutting videos. and with all the amazing morphs/types of snakes you have there i would rlly b into watching an egg cutting video from you!
Looks like I will need to do egg cutting. Hmmm.
We Breed snakes in alaska have for years n yes we use thermostats n heat pads even heat tape sometimes
@Kevin love the playing of guitar and love hearing you talk with us live and I missed it!!! Damn! Anyway glad tj hear from you! Love the fact that your giving us your time to speak to us and answer the questions we have! ❤❤❤ That fact that you are caring enough about our questions about reptiles. Thank you for doing this. Would love to have more of these vids.
Thank you for the semi vet tech stuff for real!!! Helps so much
Happy to help!
That really sucks.hope you feel better soon thats a nasty cold. Things are getting crazy expensive in south africa aswell. Love watching all your videos .i really hope that you finances improve soon .i will not be able to let any of my pets go its heart breaking.
Would LOVE an egg cutting video...lots of them. I really enjoy all you do but throwing some egg cutting vids in would be great!
Will do!!
Just got done watching about the new cages and they are so awesome. I have a black pastel albino ball and he bites all the time and he won’t eat on a regular schedule no matter what I have tried. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do?
Small cage with clutter. Hes insecure and shy and tends to goto the defensive mode.
Couldn't think of the name of song but the chorus went something like na na nananana
Horse with no name but correct!
I prefer Live videos always! Although I watch videos, with specific subjects, too, lives and bubblegum are fun!
Good to know!
Bubblegum videos are always great wouldn’t change the way things have been going video wise at all. 👍
Horse with no name- America
I like your popcorn videos.
Haaaa you got it. Thank you.
Kevin I just bought a Bernier's Striped Snake (Dromicodryas bernieri). Do you know anything about them
Noooooo
I love egg cutting! My favorite!!! Please❤
I think Kevin needs to make a video on timor-pythons. There's not a lot of information on that species online or from any other breeder. Like. Cage requirements etc
Hmmmmmm
Also I'd like to buy some from you guys that you have posted on morphmarket
This is not a question about the live. My question is what happened to that sweet boy Snarfls and the other boy Dozer
Haaaaa gaaaaa. He’s there.
Kevin, you are the goat 😊
Kind.
What happened to the other camera guy?
He’s doing his thing with police vids.
I think the word you wanted, to describe mambas, might have been: SPASTIC.
Yesssss
@@NewEnglandReptile glad I could help! 👋🏼👍🏼
