This machine looks great and works great. No need for salt or even pre-freezing bowls. This one has a compressor built it and freezes while it churns.

Mine just came yesterday. Can't wait to use. Thanks!
Thanks for making the video. My wife wants an ice cream maker and i'm thinking this will make a good Christmas gift
it's a great machine and brand, my issue is that my kids now want me to make it all the time.
This looks and sounds almost exactly like our Vevor branded one (just bought). Same exact controls and menu except ours has a knob for time. Beep sounds exactly the same.
So thank you for demonstrating how to use our new machine 🤣
haha your welcome
Just got this yesterday for a BD Gift ready to use
awesome, what is going to be your first recipe, anything exciting?
@@Jakecooks I actually made a oatmeal ice cream with oat milk creamer and oat milk and threw some raisins and cherries and rum it came out great need more rum in it 🤣
@@BEandME2020 interesting, I am not an oatmeal person but I like the creativity and would never have thought of it.
The mixing/ freezing bowl does not look stainless steel, is it not ? I am looking for one with stainless steel bowl/bucket
I am getting mine in a few months, I think this is the one after doing research.
Awesome, I got mine out a couple of days ago wanting to make some as its warming up this week.
That is HUGE! Lol I don’t have room for it! Was going to get little Cuisinart but it is so darn loud! Guess I’ll keep waiting!
sometimes space is an issue for me as well, I have so many gadgets I have to keep on shelves and cabinets.
They sell one that’s taller and narrower like about the size of a KitchenAid blender.
That's what I need. I want mine soft serve consistency too.
that is how I prefer it
Does it make gelato?
Thanks for the video. Great stuff. I thought one of the huge selling points is that you don't have to cook or freeze with this machine. Are you still cooking the liquid prior to adding it to the machine or is there another way you've found that's successful?
You do not have to cook anything, I was just showing a quick recipe that could be done, I was just trying to show the machine itself but you can do any recipe out there for ice cream, custards, sorbets, etc. The biggest main point of this one is that it has a compressor so it freezes and does not need ice and stuff.
@@Jakecooksmost ice cream recipes require cooking the base
Just opened mine but the power button isn't working 😕
Cuánto tiempo tardó en hacerse el helado?
Apparently about 45 minutes.
hey how long does it usually take to get the ice cream into an ice cream consistently I know you said it was less than an hour but was it close to 20-30 minutes or 40-50?
will depend on starting temp of the mix. I would say closer to the 45 minute mark.
@@Jakecooks thank you for your help! and keep the videos coming man!!
@@Frijole glad I could help, I plan to get some videos going soon, been busy.
@@Jakecooks if. You want the ice cream firmer do you just add time at the beginning? My was perfect soft serve at 60 but wanted it firmer.
@@deborahtunnell Yeah, just let it run a bit longer or throw in the freezer to finish. The last time I made ice cream I did an ice bath to cool the liquid down rapid and then ran the machine and it went faster.
Why is the churner made of plastic instead of stainless steel??
Would be a question for the manufacturer but I know most machines that I have used were plastic as well.
I used mine 8 times and now it drops to 68* and then starts heating up will NOT freeze in 1 hour...can anyone help?
I would reach out to their customer support, shouldn’t be doing that.
That is not ice cream you're are making. It's custard. Ice cream is not cooked.
Custard has eggs.
I Love My Whynter Ice Cream Maker. I've Had It For 2 yrs. Now. You Can Make Sorberts , Custard Ice Cream , Regular Ice Cream , Gelato , And Yogurt !! One Major Thing You Need To Let It Sit For At Least A Couple Of Hours , Because At The Bottom Of The Whynter It Has Oil The Bottom To Lubricate The Machine .So The Oil Has To Drip Back Into Place. So Try Not To Lean It And Keep It On A Flat Surface. If You Do Not Do This The Motor Will Burnout or The Bowl Will Not Turn. Also , Purchase A Lubricate Oil , like A Food Grade Oil To Lubricate The Bearings Under The Bowl And Compressor Area. Food Grade Is Better , Because You Are Eating Ice Cream And It's Not Harmful. Read Up On How To Maintain A Whynter Ice Maker Or On Amazon Someone Shows You What He Had To Do To Repair The Whynter Ice Cream Maker. Whynter Does Not Have Very Many Videos In This Style . Enjoy !!
No frozen yogurt setting?
