    You make some of the most detailed videos on Cubasis, great job. I'm new to Cubasis and I was wondering whether you can bulk drag/import audio or midi files from the bay into the project? If I have a 40 track folder and I need to drag and drop or double click them all, it gets a bit tedious!

      Thanks so much! Unfortunately at the moment you can't bulk add files to the timeline, however you can bulk add them into your media bay via the files app.

      @@MobileMusicPro that's a pity, hopefully they'll add that at certain point. Thanks for clearing that up! I guess I'll be watching more of your videos in the following days 🙂

    Thanks for that import from network section. I knew it could be done but I never looked into how, and I always wanted to, cheers.

      @@MobileMusicPro Are there any benefits for connecting to server compared to iCloud and Dropbox?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  3 года назад +1

      @@kitespongan It's just a different workflow. Personally I prefer to keep my own backups rather than store everything in the cloud as the cloud is just someone else's computer :) Bit of a privacy nut hehe.

      @@MobileMusicPro I see so it’s not a matter of speed? I find iCloud lags at times was wondering if there was a more direct wireless connection out there.

      @@kitespongan Depending on your internet connection using a local network could be much faster than the cloud so yes there is usually a speed benefit as well.

    Can you import the GarageBand loops into the Cubasis media bay?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  Год назад

      Yes you can you just have to manually export them as WAV files.

    Will this work to transfer midis into Sampletank?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  2 года назад +1

      You can certainly play MIDI files in sampletank by either importing them directly through the app or using the app in IAA mode hooked up with a DAW like Cubasis and have the MIDI in Cubasis controlling sampletank.

    Not every flash drive shows up in iOS Files app. Some say iPad has not enough power or just does nothing. How do you know before buying a drive if it will work or not?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  3 года назад

      I've never found a flash drive that didn't work so far, however you could always do a google search/amazon search to see if the product has been tested with iPad.

      Not sure if you figured it out yet, but a good rule of thumb is if it has a usb cable that has 2 usbA inputs, it's probably not going to work. The second thing you can do is get an independently powered usb hub, and power it from an outlet.

    Non sequitur. Can't copy midi files from Windows PC to ipad. Yes something got copied after messing with itunes and a hard wire conection to ipad, but the files are greyed out and unuseable. Seems Apple is expensive, proprietary, and it's always a constant upsell. I sincerely hope Apple goes bankrupt.

    • @MobileMusicPro

      I copy midi and audio files from PC to iPad almost every day (due to creating midi and sample packs) and it works perfectly. You can copy the files from pc to a local folder via a usb drive, dropbox or do like I do which is wirelessly via home wifi network.
      Plus you can literally ALWAYS find cheap high quality fast iPads on ebay or gazelle due to apple launching a new one almost every year.
      If you don't like apple that's fine but know that your experience is not that of many others like myself. Best of luck.
