    Another beautiful pendant. You did a really good job with the sideways hole in the stone. Just the right amount of swirls for the size. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. Keei the goodness coming. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒

    Love this! I attempted to make a simpler wire bail with a side drilled bead a while ago and the whole top broke off. I believe that bead was a composite and so too soft and the holes too close to the top withstand pressure. When I try this technique, I will check the mohs scale for hardness of the bead and use a thinner gauge wire or a different technique of your's altogether. Live and learn :-)

    I'm very new to jewelry making and wire wrapping, but your videos are so straight forward and easy to understand that it's made me want to work on things sooner. I've watched your other videos explaining the tools and wires too; completely stunning work you do, and this pendant is really pretty.

    I did it! I really liked this tutorial because sometimes it’s easier to get your hands on side drilled beads. It was pretty easy to do and mine came out pretty good. It didn’t take much time either which is great for a beginner wire wrapper! Thanks, You’re awesome!

    As a beginner, I only had a few stones and I’ve done them. I do have some side drilled beads like this. Glad you did this tutorial. I want to get competent before I dive into a big haul and actually finding it hard to find a small amount to play with. Maybe in future you could do a video on how to go about it. I did go to Etsy and I bought some but they were smaller than I realized. I’m sure there is a formula but don’t know it. Also thank you for showing how to get the scratches out. I am trying to be careful but my issues usually come from pushing wires underneath other wires and making the curls. I am exclusively following you as your teaching is so easy to follow and I am pretty proud of what I have done this far thanks to you. It is so cool to see the transformation !❤

    Wow Oxana, get outta my head! I was just searching for side-drilled bail designs. This came out great. Very pretty and elegant. Do you think this would work with a rectangular or trapazoid shaped bead with a square top? I have several focal beads shaped like this that I'm struggling to wrap bails for.

    I've never done any wire wrapping but one of my sons was given an undrilled stone and asked me to make coils like in your video and wrap the stone. I failed and ended up with a sore thumb pad. Do you use finger protectors or have you just gotten used to twisting larger gauge wires?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Год назад

      I think I build up some tolerance, but I don't do a lot of weaving or coiling. They sell this thick squishy medical tape you could wrap around your fingers to protect them.
