I have enjoyed this build better than any you have ever done. Keep it up. these are wonderful options for folks as temp housing, travel options, alternatives to RV's and more. God Bless You!
Ken, I used to watch Norm’s New Yankee Workshop and would be amazed with the number of tips he knew. I wouldn’t sell your skills short though. All of your work is well done and looks great.
Listen to your medical professionals, not the armchair peanut gallery. They are lucky I didn’t see their comments, because I probably would’ve let them have it! I love these shelves! The ones next to the kitchen blend really well with the window.
its like age you only get better its a number if you feel good your fine cider doughnuts is what i hear enjoy life you only go around once sometimes twice but not often thank Ken
In regards to electrical A good option for small spaces is the use of stacked switches. You can get this 3 gang boxes down to a single gang. It could save you some headaches with trim
Great results on the two shelving unit builds and their installation. Lots of options for how they are used. PS don't fret too much about your weight.......health and happiness come first.
Excellent trim work Ken! Lyle “Lovett” rooster, crooner of the hens has found his voice. I’d imagine it’s just every day background sound you are totally used to now.😊 Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the tip about going reverse with the screw first before you drill forward to prevent splitting the wood. I really like the shelving unit you built for beside the kitchen sink Ken! I like the little lip idea on those shelves. I like the idea of the thin trim around the big shelving unit. I hope the trim pieces fit! I thought it would look long! I'm glad you don't have to waste those trim boards. So beautiful Ken! Thanks for this video Ken! You and Sandy have done a great job praying for me. Things are going fairly well. Thanks for your support. I pray you two and yours are doing well also!
Love those shelves! BTW, that must have been one heck of a rain. The Connecticut River down here over the border of Massachusetts is flowing high and ugly! Alot of turbidity! Jumped in a couple of times to build up the immunity!
WV HILLBILLY I AM A BIG FAN KEN ENJOY YOUR SHOW VERY MUCH HOW IS CHAD AND DAN DOING OUT ON THIER OWN BLESS DAN LITTLE BOY ON EYE THE TINY HOUSE IS LOOOKING GREAT CANT WAIT FOR NEXT PROJECT
Every morning I drink 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon honey stirred up in water to keep stomach bloat at bay. The bitter taste of apple cider vinegar is neutralized by the lemon juice and honey. It wasn't fat that I had, it was bloat from stomach gasses. I think that's what you might have.
Good morning 🙏 KEN, Great day at the KEN STEAD. SHELVES ARE NICE. I LIKE THEM. PRAYING WITH YOU IN JESUS'S NAME AMEN 🙏 STORMS FOR 3 DAYS 🌧 🌦 ❤ SE MICHIGAN 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
I did the interior of a cabin in NC with the exact T & G! Enjoyed working with it! The ceiling was about 30 feet to the top so lots of scaffold climbing! Tiny cabin looking good! Maybe Lyle would like to join you one day working 🤣! He needs a little time away from the hens!
I've been 'binge watching' tonight to catch up on videos since I'm behind (from the hurricane). This WAS going to be the last one, but then you 'teased a surprise announcement' at the end ... soooooooooooooo, I'm not going to bed now! LOL One more to go. LOL 😅😅😅I won't be able to sleep knowing there's a surprise. Curiosity killed the cat!
Shelf spacing... Most people do as you did, I believe, but I always make each shelf a bit small as they go up. That way the taller items may fit at the bottom whereas if all shelves are equal then if a bottle is too tall for one shelf it's too tall for ANY shelf. Just a thought.
Ken last time you gave a weight check I was about one hundred pounds now one twenty food is to good I’m lighter than before retiring ten years ago at about two sixty pounds
Nice looking additions, Ken. I was just wondering, with the spice rack, if your spacing would be tall, medium, short (like the size of my spice jars)? I see it's not. But for the spacing for the book shelves, are they going to be tall, medium, short (like my books)?
I can't believe anybody commented on your horizontal challenges, that's so rude! I'd take it as having a less stressful like, 'suck it up' and enjoy my friend. I'm sure Sandy likes the cuddly you! Love to her by the way, often thinking of her and how she's doing!*! ❤
I really enjoy watching your videos Ken. Keep up the great work. In my opinion, I think it's very rude for someone to mention about an other persons weight. Keep your comments to yourself. And another thing. The rooster got to go lol.
I’m amazed at the arrogance and rudeness of people that think that they know you personally to 😮make such a comment. I know they sure don’t want someone taking their body inventory. This isn’t a fitness channel!!! This is a building channel! Rude people should go away! What absolute ignorant people! Ken, you do you and just block the ignorant comment people. Love the built in shelving unit!
I wonder if you may be eating the amount of calories as when you were building garages, etc and burning more calories.....hard to stop of eating habits....believe me I KNOW
Norm loves to use those biscuits!
Yup
❤ Good Evening Ken🌠🤩Like the way you set up the Shelves on side of wall! Very neet look👍Nice saves space being built in!!👍🤩👌🤞✌️🌟🇺🇸🙏🙌✨🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thanks I appreciate it
I have enjoyed this build better than any you have ever done. Keep it up. these are wonderful options for folks as temp housing, travel options, alternatives to RV's and more. God Bless You!
Thanks I appreciate it
Looks like a great place for one of those full length mirrors as a door for those shelves.
Right
So interesting and relaxing to watch you work on a great project. Take good care.
Thanks, you too!
Looking great Ken! Have a great day!
Thanks you too
I do my own thing but still learn something from you on almost every video. Thanks for that. Keep up the good work..
I appreciate that!
Ken, I used to watch Norm’s New Yankee Workshop and would be amazed with the number of tips he knew. I wouldn’t sell your skills short though. All of your work is well done and looks great.
Thanks so much
Looks good Ken, You could use pocket holes on the back side to attach the face frame which would eliminate showing hardware on the face.
Cool thanks
Looks great. I suggest doors on the recessed cabinets with latches for traveling.
Thanks
I have a couple extra cats that might help with your rooster issue, too. LOL Free shipping!
Very kind of you. :)
It’s looking great Ken, and your rooster has a great trill to his crow 😂
Thanks haha
Looking Great!
Thanks
Beautiful.
Thank you!
Very nice 😊🙏👍❤
Thanks
Listen to your medical professionals, not the armchair peanut gallery. They are lucky I didn’t see their comments, because I probably would’ve let them have it!
I love these shelves! The ones next to the kitchen blend really well with the window.
Thanks they were saying it in kindness
Thanks for the tip about flipping the trim piece over to cut the second 45*
You bet!
Gooooooooood morning, Ken. Love the shelves. A little extra weight does nothing bad to your dashing looks 🤣
Good morning! Hahahaha
Always pleased to see you using knee padding.
Thanks
'The last screw phenomenon'. My goodness, how many times.
its like age you only get better its a number if you feel good your fine cider doughnuts is what i hear enjoy life you only go around once sometimes twice but not often thank Ken

Oh man, I'm really loving those shelves, Ken. Nice use of the space!
Thanks I appreciate it
trim and finishing is the stuff people really look at so you always want to make it as nice as you can. Looking great so far.
Thanks 👍
In regards to electrical A good option for small spaces is the use of stacked switches. You can get this 3 gang boxes down to a single gang. It could save you some headaches with trim
Good to know thanks
Hi Ken. That was a nice piece of work & lookes very apt for those 2 sides for storage. Take Care.
Great results on the two shelving unit builds and their installation. Lots of options for how they are used. PS don't fret too much about your weight.......health and happiness come first.
Haha thanks

Thanks. I’m glad you’re working through this
That long shelving unit might be better to use as a storage for a broom and dustpan. Just a thought
Thanks not sure if it’s deep enough
These days it's more like deck screws are the new sheetrock screws formerly bungee cords, lol.
Haha yes
Good lessons on shelf building. Thanks
Thanks
Love those shelves! BTW, that must have been one heck of a rain. The Connecticut River down here over the border of Massachusetts is flowing high and ugly! Alot of turbidity! Jumped in a couple of times to build up the immunity!
Thanks. Yes it was a pretty good gully washer.
Ken,can u not make a temporary work bench and save your knees and floor??☘️🇮🇪👏👏👏🔨🔨🔨🔨make shelves moveable ken.
PER........FECT,have a bless day😅🌷🌼🌻🇺🇸
You might think about making adjustable shelving on that large cabinet.
Interesting thanks
Pin holes for the shelves would make them adjustable

Maybe your next Tiny House will be two story with a sunroof 😂😅😊
Whoa! :)
It might look nice to make a door for the second shelf you built. Don’t you need the extra work anyway?? Lol
Haha yes!
Good day to all.
Good day
Love this tiny house project, Ken. Just curious why you didn’t use the nail gun to assemble the shelf insert?
The screws really hold the framework together, so I like to do that and then finish nail the trim
I enjoy 🐓 ❤.
Thanks
Hi Ken, I know you have a shop and work bench, so why are you working on the floor?
Cudo's for giving Norm Abrams credit for his skills. 😊
Right. My shop is full of
Will the framing fit in the corner? Just wondering.
