      @CyrusFisher619 Год назад +24

      @@EAGLINWRX they don’t need to be this long. All the trophy trucks are either standard cab or supercab because they are a better setup than being an entire limousine like this. Trucks nowadays prioritize a bunch of heavy and cheap “features” and interior space over the actual performance of the vehicle. If dodge and ford wanted to make the best performance trucks they would shorten the cab and remove all the extra interior crap that they pack in these.

There was no log, rock or sagebrush too big that I couldn’t get past to get his truck near him. It would have been a long haul about 1/2 mile uphill that would’ve put a toll on the paramedics, EMTs and Sheriff and us to carry him to the ambulance. • @Hadouken5150
      @Hadouken5150 8 месяцев назад

      No, the Raptor did fail. But let’s be honest… The Raptor wasn’t designed for trailing like this. Typically you want a shorter wheelbase like a Toyota or Jeeper. The F-150 is like a foot too long on both sides of the rear axle.

      @Hadouken5150 7 месяцев назад

      @@silversurfer3636 that’s a factory raptor. And yeah the raptor wasn’t designed for this kinda stuff. It was designed as a Baja racing type truck. Full size trucks, even 1/4 ton trucks including the gladiator usually require a big ass lift(like 6+ inches) to get at obstacles like this

    That isn’t a vehicle failure, that is clearly a driver failure. You have to know not only the limitations of the vehicle and how to drive it but knowing your own. Too many people foolishly think that just because they have a 4x4 that no matter how they approach a challenging (and sometimes not so challenging) situation that the vehicle will just pull through it, never giving it a second thought that their lack of skills off roading plays no role.
