I haven't tried seche vite, but I picked up seche vive from Marshalls. It's the gel version. It's pretty good. I only get bad shrinkage if I use it with a jelly. Polishes that aren't as thick and have better dry times seem to pair better with it.

I don't remember where I learned it, but it has worked for me - apply Seche Vite before your nail polish is completely dry & it doesn't pull your polish. And, if helps to get their thinner because about halfway through the bottle, it gets thick.
Interesting!! I wonder if using other types of thinner adds to the pulling effect I will ha e to checl their ingredients I'm curious now lol, So far I have used it a few times with no pulling I am glad to report 🥰
@@JambolinasWorld I'm glad you aren't getting the pulling! It is so annoying when that happens! Honestly, I never checked the Seche Vite ingredients. 😳 I use their thinner only in their top coat. And, I use Glisten and Glow thinner for all my regular nail polish.
@@rufusjune9163 great tips, I use the kbshimmer thinner currently for everything but if such needs its own thinner I may have to get some because I'm definitely enjoying to top coat ☺❤
Also they sell a refill size, I top off my working bottle after every 3-4 manicures from the refill size and most of the time it's like opening a brand new bottle of SV. And then I can cut back on the amount of thinner because eventually if you use too much thinner you'll ruin the integrity of the polish.
But big YES on you're supposed to use it while your polish is still wet, and also capping your nails with SV is important, too. I rarely get shrinkage, but on rare occasion when I do I just lightly file my nails once the polish is fully dry and keep going. I don't even own any other topcoats anymore, with the refill bottle I never have performance issues and the refill lasts me about two years, and I do my nails once per week.

I'm wondering if its with the polish specifically, I have had one shrinky top coat but it didn't do it to every polish... I have theories 🤔🤣
